So many books stress God is always with us. How fantastic for a book to proclaim the Scriptural truth that God is also within. It’s a lifelong gift for children to discover God makes his home inside them while their hearts are open to receive the mystery.
MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
Night of Mysterious Blessings is a really nice story to read at bedtime to your children. The story is comforting, and really can be read any time your child needs a little encouragement. As a believer in the Lord, I would add what I believe that would make my grandchild comfortable. The way the book is written, anyone can do the same as I did, they can insert their beliefs into the story.
Night of Mysterious Blessings is a beautiful book inside and out. Courtney Smith does an exceptional job with the Illustrations. I love the watercolors, and the colors fit the story so well. I think the illustrations are a bit different that most I’ve seen, but Smith does such a fantastic job, I found myself loving each page. This would make an excellent book for your child’s library, as well as any elementary library or classroom. If you love unique children’s books, you will love this one.
