This was my first Davis Bunn book, and it sure will not be my last! Wayne Grusza was a guy whose personal life was a mess, mainly because he could do nothing to please his preacher father. He joined the military, and was trained with Special Operations and though it’s a weird mix, Accounting. After returning home, with his CPA training and with his sisters help, he was able to secure a job with a Retirement Community who had lost everything they had to a scam artist. Wayne not only helped the people in the Retirement Community get their money back, Bunn didn’t stop there. Wayne went on to do a few more ‘dangerous’ jobs that kept us on the edge of our seats! And talk about support, Wayne had the support of everyone in that community. And what about Julio? I just loved the way Bunn used Wayne to be just what the boy needed to rescue him from the life he had. And I can’t leave out Victoria, the older lady that was so close to her Lord. She prayed over everything and for everyone. As God answered her prayers, others in the community, including Wayne begin to see God as they had never seen him before. It shows love and forgiveness and acceptance to someone who thought these things would never be a part of his life.
All Through the Night is a must read! It will be time well spent!
