Can faith build a bridge between their dreams?
For two years, Allan and Michele have been trying to have a baby. The emotional ride has been taking a toll on their hearts–and their relationship. Michele is obsessed with researching fertility treatments while Allan seems content to spend his time–and their money–on supporting displaced children in Africa. Something’s got to give. But they both hope it’s not their marriage.
Still, God has a plan for Allan and Michele that they could never have imagined. And all it takes to set it in motion is a change of heart . . .
MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
The Restoration Series has been an enjoyable and amazing series by two of the best authors! Gary Smalley and Dan Walsh comes together again with the third book in this series. God has a plan for Allan and Michelle, but can they really trust Him? When they have been trying for years to have a baby and God hadn’t intervened, the emotions are going haywire with this couple. This is just a tender and heartwarming book that will touch the lives of those who read it! And I really like the interview with Dan and Gary at the end of the book. It just makes the story even that much more personal! These two author do a fantastic job with writing this wonderful book. And I highly recommend this to those couple who are dealing with Infertility.

ABOUT THE BOOK
In 1962, life was simple, the world made sense, and all families were happy.
And when they weren’t, everyone knew you were supposed to pretend.
For the past year, Scott and Gina Harrison have been living a lie. While they show up at family get-togethers in the same car, they’ve actually been separated for over a year. To keep up the charade, they’ve even instructed their sons, Colt and Timmy, to lie–to their grandparents, their teachers, and their friends.
Colt, for one, has had enough, so he hatches a plan. He and his little brother will run away from their Florida home, head for their aunt’s house in Georgia, and refuse to come home until their parents get back together. But when things go terribly, terribly wrong, Scott and Gina must come to grips with years of neglect and mistrust in order to recover their beloved sons, their love for one another, and their marriage.
In this emotional story, bestselling author Dan Walsh takes you on a journey to rediscover the things that matter most in life–love, truth, and family. With profound insight into the heart of a hurting child, he reminds us that a time will come to look back on hard times and smile, because we’ll know that what follows after . . . is not what we expected at all.
“Dan is an artist and his canvas is the novel, where he uses different colors and hues of words to create a masterpiece. What Follows After is a story that will surely touch your heart and soul.”–John M. Wills, New York Journal of Books
MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
I became a huge Dan Walsh fan after I read his first book! And his books just keep getting better! I have to say that What Follows After is one of the best books I have read! Ever! Scott and Gina Harrison was separated, but not only were they living a lie, they forced their two boys to lie for them! In order to bring their parents together, the two boys decide to run away to their aunts house, and not come home until their parents were together again. But their plan ended in a terrible situation, and Scott and Gina were then forced to be together, and take a good look at their lives, and what they were doing to their boys. Was their happiness more important that the happiness of their children?
From the very first page, this story captured my heart and attention. The characters are so uniquely created and developed that they seem like part of your family! I kept thinking about praying for this family and the horrible situation they were in! I was scared for the boys, and annoyed at the parents because of what they expected their kids to do. But the important thing about this story is that author Dan Walsh weaves God’s Word and the importance of living for Him. And Mr. Walsh shows how God can take our mistakes, no matter how horrible they are and turn them around for His Glory. God does this in our lives when we give our situations to Him and trust Him to work through them. I thought of the Bible verse Romans 8:28 many times while reading this book. I was to really encourage you to pick up a copy of What Follows After by this amazing and gifted storyteller! Expect the tears to come, because they will, but you will find that this is a book well worth your time and money!

The Dance
by Gary Smalley and Dan Walsh
Love’s recovery starts with a single step . . .
After 27 years of marriage, Marilyn Anderson is tired of playing the role of perfect wife. Her husband Jim is a successful businessman who gives her everything she needs-a beautiful home in an upscale neighborhood, the financial freedom to be a stay-at-home mom, an enviable collection of stuff. Everything, that is, except what really matters: love.
After years of trying to connect with Jim, Marilyn has had enough. She longs to experience some measure of happiness before she’s too old to enjoy it. Needing some time to herself to sort things out, Marilyn leaves to start a new job and take dancing lessons-something she has wanted to do for as long as she can remember.
Shocked to find his wife gone, Jim Anderson must sort through the past to save his marriage. With a little help from an unexpected ally, he begins a campaign to win Marilyn back. What he doesn’t anticipate is how his actions will affect everyone around him-starting with himself.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
When I saw that Dan Walsh and Gary Smalley both wrote this book, I knew it had to be good, because both of these guys are awesome writers! And of course I was not disappointed! Dealing with an issue that so many people face today, after twenty seven years of marriage, Marilyn decides she is not happy and wants to leave Jim to try things she hasn’t been able to, since she has been limited being married. What will happen when Marilyn leaves to start life on her own?
This is a love story and much more! With Gary Smalley being an expert on marriage and relationships, and Dan Walsh a writing expert, this is a story that will grip your attention and your heart, and won’t let go! Following the journey of Marilyn and Jim through their difficult situations gets intense with their relationship and marriage on the line. This book is full of valuable advise and scripture to lead couples through relationships, as well as help us with relationships with those around us. I strongly advise this book for everyone! I think this is one that can help anyone who reads it, whether you are having marriage problems or not!

ABOUT THIS BOOK
Everything lost can be found.
Aaron Miller knows a thing or two about loss. He’s lost love. Dignity. Second, and even third, chances. Once honored for his heroism, he now lives in near obscurity, working as a handyman in a humble trailer park.
But God is a master at finding and redeeming the lost things of life. Unbeknownst to Aaron, someone is searching for him.
With deep insight into the human heart, consummate storyteller Dan Walsh gently weaves a tale of a life spent in the shadows but meant for the light. Through tense scenes of war and tender moments of romance, The Reunion will make you believe that everyone can get a second chance at life and love.
Praise for Dan Walsh
“Dan’s books grab your heart and don’t let you go until the last page.”–Dr. Gary Smalley, bestselling author and speaker
“Walsh [makes] the reader feel like a dear old friend.”–RT Book Reviews
“Dan Walsh’s novel-within-a-novel is rich with intrigue, history, and romance. Character-driven and wistful . . . a sublime delight that shouldn’t be missed.”–USA Today on The Discovery
MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
Wow, there’s been very few books that I sat and cried when I finished reading the book, and this is one of them. Dan Walsh has gone over the top with this one, with a masterpiece that will stick with me for a long time. And one thing is for sure, when I hear someone mention a Vietnam war veteran or the Vietnam War, I will think of Dan Walsh and his book, “The Reunion.” If everyone had Aaron’s attitude and character, the world would be a better place.
Aaron was mistreated, abused, rejection, abandoned, accused and he lost everything, including his family, and many times wanted to die, but it was clear that God has a plan for Aaron’s life, and His protection was on Aaron for his entire life. His wife labeled him as a homeless drunk and even when she found out different, never told his children any different, so he never saw them again. But this was Aaron, and as the story unfolds, we read an amazingly wonderful story of what God can do with a man who gives his life to the Lord. This is the most amazing story I’ve read, and even more, an amazing tribute to those who lost their lives, and those who fought in the Vietnam War.
When I started reading this book, I had only read what was on the back of the book, no reviews, nothing more, and I am so glad. The book has so much more meaning, and was so much more amazing not knowing what to expect.
I strongly encourage you to pick up a copy of Dan Walsh’s new novel, “The Reunion” to read and enjoy. The only thing though, have a box of tissues close by, because you are going to need them!

The Discovery by Dan Walsh

My Thoughts on this Book!
The Discovery Dan Walsh
Michael’s live changed within a day when his grandfather’s will was read. Being a writer like his grandfather, Michael inherited his house and all the mysteries surrounding it. Michael’s family didn’t know anything about his grandparent’s life prior to their wedding, and they would never tell the family anything. After their grandfather’s death, they had no hope of ever finding out. But Michael’s search through his new house uproots mysteries and secrets that will change their lives forever.
Another intriguing, well written story by Dan Walsh with a little suspense/mystery to keep your nose into the book from page one. I was as excited as Michael was, though I had it all figured out before he did. This was just a nice pleasant read that anyone will enjoy. The characters were real and we grow to love them immediately, though Jenn didn’t seem to share Michael’s enthusiasm as much as she should have. However she was happy with Michael’s huge inheritance.
I highly recommend this book to anyone just wanting a good read. You will not be disappointed in this Dan Walsh novel.
