A graduate of Princeton University and the University of Minnesota Law School, he also taught for two years as an adjunct professor of International Law, and served as a US diplomat in Hong Kong.

The Deposit Slip, Mr. Johnson’s first novel, debuted in 2012. Todd’s second novel, Critical Reaction, will be released in November 2013.

Todd lives outside Minneapolis, Minnesota, with his wife Cathy and children Ian and Libby.

ABOUT THE BOOK

After decades of turning out plutonium for the arms race, the Hanford Nuclear Facility has long been shuttered, though its deadly legacy cannot be fully contained. The men who guard the facility from sabotage or monitor its buildings for radiation leaks are told the risks are under control. They believe it, until the worst happens: a thunderous explosion in the dead of night.

Two workers, lifer Poppy Martin and new hire Kieran Mullaney, believe themselves lucky to survive the blast. But as the debris is cleared, they discover their safety is not assured. Dead ends and closed doors halt their efforts to discover what really happened–and what radiation may have poisoned them. When stalling and threats force them into the hands of experienced trial lawyer Ryan Hart, they learn that theirs is no ordinary lawsuit. There is something still hidden in the desert of eastern Washington, and someone is willing to go to extreme lengths to make sure it never sees the light of day.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Wow, this book was nerve wrecking awesome!!  Critical Reaction was every bit as good, if not better than The Deposit Slip, which is one of my favorite books! I didn’t know a thing about nuclear plants or anything nuclear, but through Todd Johnson’s clear, vivid explanation’s and descriptions, I learned quite a bit about this field. Johnson makes the entire book seem so realistic, I kept thinking this was something really happening, and I was reading a newspaper. I love suspense/thrillers, and this one is well worth your time and money! I want to encourage you to pick up a copy of Critical Reaction for many hours of awesome entertainment.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Wow, I just finished reading this book and my head is still spinning! If you like Randy Singer, then Todd Johnson is a must! So many times when reading this book I was so nervous at what was happening. There is no way to keep up with the twists and turns that happen in this story, it is full of them. And when you think its calmed down a bit, hold on to your seat because it takes another turn.

Todd Johnson will sure go on my list of favorite authors, and I will keep an eye out for his next book!

How can you loose 10 million dollars? Erin wants to make sure the bank doesn’t keep the money if it was truly her dad’s, but no one seems do know what happened to it. And no lawyer will take the case, that is until Jared finally decided to launch out and take it, against his secretary, Jessie’s will. It is just too complicated.

On the other side of it, someone is determined to go to the extremes to make sure no one gets close to information about the check being deposited in Larson’s account. But there was a reason that Larson left the deposit slip in his safe deposit box for Erin to find after he was gone.

If you like thrillers, then this book is a must! You will be thrilled out of your seat! I highly encourage you to grab a copy of The Deposit Slip to read and enjoy for yourself!
