MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Wow, Margaret Brownley has done it again!  I love, love Gunpowder Tea! And I love Miranda! She is so determined to be Pinkerton’s top operative, she is willing to do just about anything to make sure that opportunity comes true. Assuming the identity of Annie Beckman at the Last Chance Ranch is just what Miranda needs to prove herself. But dealing with Jeremy Taggart at the ranch could be a problem. Especially since Miranda doesn’t know that he is a Wells Fargo Detective searching for the same answers as she is. Which agency will win out?

Margaret Brownley captured my attention from the very first page of Gunpowder Tea. The characters are so real, and Margaret developed each character into someone so unique and personal they will stay with you for many days and months after you finish the story. In fact, I would love a continuation of this series myself! As I read Gunpowder Tea, I not only read a fun, interesting and entertaining story, I laughed until I cried sometimes at the humor throughout the book. Margaret Brownley has a unique way of adding humor to her western and detective story that I absolutely love! I actually love everything about this story, and I just can’t say enough about it. But I don’t give away plots, so you need to read Gunpowder Tea for yourself and see what its all about. I assure you, you will not be disappointed! I know you  will love, love this entire series from Margaret Brownley!

MY THOUGTS ON THIS BOOK

Wow, another awesome book in Margaret Daley’s The Men of the Texas Rangers Series! What I really like about this series is that the situations and crimes are so very realistic it was like reading about happenings in the newspaper! The tension flies high as the crimes continue to happen, and all seem to center around Rebecca’s family. Could Rebecca be the one they are really after? Brody wants to make sure Rebecca is safe, and will do whatever it takes to protect her.

I love the characters, love the story and was thoroughly entertained reading Scorned Justice. Margaret is a gifted storyteller that will capture your attention and won’t let go. The relationship between Brody and Rebecca was an added blessing, and gives the story that heartwarming feeling. I have to say that I never, ever expected the twists and turns at the end of the story, but it was awesome! And don’t peek to see what it is, it will ruin it all for you!

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Texas Ranger Cody Jackson thought he would slip into his new police job in Durango, Texas with shorter hours, but that’s just wasn’t to be. Especially when they had several murders in the first few days he was there. And that didn’t help his relationship with his son, his son that he was now raising after the death of his ex-wife. The interesting thing was working with Liliana Rodrequez, cause there was sure an attraction there.

This is the second book in author Margaret Daley’s series, The Men of the Texas Rangers. After reading the first book I this series, I knew this one would be good, and I wasn’t disappointed. Margaret writes the story in a way that keeps readers glued to the pages until the very end. The characters are realistic and develop well as the plot unfolds. I thoroughly enjoyed this well written story and I think you readers will too! I encourage you to pick up a copy of this suspense thriller for your reading enjoyment. You will be glad you did!
