MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

I just love this book. Each story is so sweet and special and there is no way I would pick a favorite? I mean, Karen Witemeyer, Connealy, Regina Jennings and Carol Cox are for of my top rated authors so I knew every story had to be top rated! And I love having a book with four novella’s because sometimes you just don’t have time for a full book.

Each of these stories turn out to be a beautiful love story. Though the couples don’t know it for a while. I enjoyed the matchmaking and the journey of each of these four couples. The all make for a Heartwarming read. If you don’t have time to read a big book at this time, check this one out. Or if you are like me and just need a shorter story for a while, this us an amazing one to check out!

But Caleb Nelson is positive he inherited the mercantile, and he’s not about to let an obstinate woman with newfangled ideas ruin all he’s worked for. In hope of turning her interest elsewhere, he determines to get Melanie married off, and luckily, there are many single men in town quite willing to take her off his hands.

The problem is, Caleb soon realizes he doesn’t want her to marry any of them. He’s drawn to her more every day, and he has to admit some of her ideas for the store offer unexpectedly positive results.

But someone doesn’t want the mercantile to succeed, and threatening words have escalated into destruction and danger. Will Melanie and Caleb’s business–and budding romance–survive the trouble that’s about to come their way?

My Thoughts on Love In Disguise

Ellie Moore never thought she would be looking for employment, but after being told she was no long needed at her former job, she need a job and will take anything she can get. It just so happens she overhears a conversation about someone needing a woman for an undercover operation, and Ellie knew this job was for her. And after much convincing, she gets the job, a job that she will need to prove herself.

So all is well with Ellie now that she has a job, right? Well, much to her dismay, she finds herself in a whirlwind of circumstances that will literally keep her hopping! When she finds out her partner quits, Ellie decides to use her acting skills and the trunk of costumes to find out for herself just who is stealing the silver from the mines in Pickford, Az. And you just have to read the book to get the real impact of the story!

Wow, what an awesome debut book for Carol Cox. I thoroughly enjoyed this story full of mystery and a little romance added in. Carol did a wonderful job of keeping the two characters played by Ellie unique and different. I was on the edge of my seat at times because I thought Ellie was going to be found out. The setting in small town Pickford, Az was fun and enjoyable. Other than the silver thieves, the people of the town were nice and homely, people we all would love to meet and have as neighbors.

I highly recommend Love In Disguise for a really nice read! This is one book that will not disappoint!
