Dangerous to Know by Megan Whitson Lee

About the book:

“Don’t look at him, dear. He’s dangerous.”

0943AAA0-9B1C-475F-AB74-9151D5A20866

Isabella Bankmill seeks a husband whose character matches her list of requirements. The man must share her faith, but he must also possess a certain je ne sais quoi. The enigmatical Lord Gregory Gordon Bromby—London’s newest literary sensation—certainly possesses the latter. Despite a deformed foot and alarming views on politics and religion, he attracts the ladies in droves.

Haunted by his past and overwhelmed by his newfound celebrity status, Lord Bromby’s obsession with his own doom leads to reckless behavior. When he is stalked by an obsessive aristocrat seeking an elopement, Bromby’s friends urge him to marry a suitable lady as soon as possible. Intrigued by Isabella’s convictions and hoping to avoid further scandal, Bromby proposes to Isabella.

Isabella also receives an offer of marriage from kind-hearted philanthropist, David Beringer—a man equally devoted to his faith—but she only has eyes for Lord Bromby. Blinded by his talent and good looks, Isabella convinces herself that he’s not as dangerous as everyone claims. But when Bromby’s world violently collides with hers, Isabella must decide once and for all who is lord of her life. God or Bromby?

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Let me just say, Lord Gregory Bromby is definitely not my favorite person. He so wants to portray himself and a noble gentleman but he is totally anything but. I found him rude, obnoxious, unfaithful and so very thoughtless, with deception with every way and word. Isabella Bankmill, on the other hand, comes from a strong Christian family, is strong in her faith in God. But Isabella finds herself attracted to Bromby despite what and who he is.

Author Meghan Lee does a great job of creating characters that will pop right off the pages of her books. The situations in this book were so intense that it was difficult to put the book down at times for me. And as the choices Isabella made start to unravel, Ms Lee takes the opportunity to show what can happen with a Christian is married to an unbeliever. As Bromby real self comes to surface, the ugly darkness of their marriage is not what Isabella hopes for, but has to face. I appreciate the biblical truths and promises throughout this book and the way the author weaves this all into the story to make it sound real, instead of something unbelievable. I encourage readers who are looking for a nice clean story to check this one out.

I received this book from Reading with Audrey to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal  Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 55.

Misstep by Deborah Dee Harper

1991CB27-13E7-49D9-975A-3288E3FAE929

Strangest Town on Earth

Pastor Hugh Foster: His heart was in the right place, even if, in hindsight, it appeared he’d clearly taken leave of his senses.

It’s December in Road’s End, Virginia, a tiny town long forgotten by anyone but its residents, where Colonel Hugh Foster and his wife, Melanie, have chosen to live—for better or worse. The jury’s still out on that one!

Misstep

Heart-warming humor and

a touch of cozy mystery By Deb Harper

August 2015 Road’s End is comprised entirely of senior citizens whose kids have grown and left for greener pastures. Hugh, Melanie, and Bristol (one of the few sane people in town) are faced with a crumbling church in desperate need of repair and renovation, a dwindling congregation of opinionated, ornery senior citizens, and a camel—yes, a camel. And if that’s not enough, the trio and the rest of the Road’s End residents are soon mired in danger and intrigue when a group of gun-toting drug dealers arrive in town, bent on killing the church handyman, and conspiring to ruin the doggonedest record-breaking blizzard the town has ever seen.

Poor drug dealers.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Just from the cover of this book alone, I knew I was in for an exciting and fun ride through the delightful but almost forgotten town of Road’s End, Virginia. I love  a good cozy mystery and this one has it all. From the little country church to the quirky senior citizens, from the moments of suspense to the doggonedest wild blizzard that hit the town, author Deborah Dee Harper will have you laughing out loud, as you journey through this Misstep of happenings in this fun loving and exciting book. And did I mention drug dealers? Yep a gang of drug dealers appeared in Road’s End to boot!

You just need a story that makes you do more than giggle sometimes, and Deborah Dee Harper is my new author for some fun and laughable reading. And to add that it’s a Christmas story makes it even sweeter! This is a well written book, a book that you won’t want to end. How Ms. Harper can write a story with so much going on, using her host of unforgettable, hilarious cast of characters to make us laugh, yet at the same time having such things as a blizzard going on, and some mysterious suspense in the middle of it all, well, that’s a really great writer! I highly recommend this book for those wanting a break from some of the more serious and heartbreaking books, and wanting a light and delightful entertaining story. This is your book! Make sure Misstep is on you list of Christmas books to read this year.

About the Book

Title: This Freedom Journey

Author: Misty M. Beller

Genre: Christian Historical Romance

Release Date: July 11, 2018

This Freedom JourneyAdrien Lockman is through with the political unrest and bloodshed in his home country of France, so he sets off to the Canadian territory’s mountain frontier, in search of a place where a man can live his own life in peace. The last thing he expects to find is a woman, half-starved and half-frozen in a shack nestled among the towering peaks of the great Rocky Mountains.

Mary Standish thought she’d finally found a place where she was accepted, trapping with her husband for the Hudson Bay Company. But when he dies after a gruesome grizzly fight, she determines to carry on their work. After all, life in these remote mountains is better than enduring the scorn and snubs of “civilized” folk. When she’s forced to face a winter harder than any she’s endured yet, her stubbornness may just be the death of her. Until a stranger appears at her ramshackle door.

Adrien had planned to explore the mountain country all winter before he settles down to build a farm in the spring, but he can’t leave this woman to die in the elements. Even though she seems desperate for him to go. As Mary regains strength, she’s torn between wanting to save her dignity, and craving the respect of this man who’s slipped past her defenses. As the winter worsens, the truth becomes all too real—the only way they’ll survive is together.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

As Adrien Lockman explores the mountain country of the Canadian Rockies in the middle of a horrific blizzard, he finds himself at a shack where a woman lives, sick, half starved and half frozen. Glad to find shelter, Adrien goes to work building a fire and cooking food that will sustain the lady until he can make more provisions. Though his plan is to keep exploring, there is no way he can leave this woman alone. But will she trust him enough to let him stay, but what choice does she have?

I really enjoyed Adrien and Mary’s story. And though Mary was in pretty bad condition when Adrien found her, he underestimated her strength and determination. Mary was quite able to take care of herself. Or so she thought. But without Adrien’s caring for her, she could have very well lost her life.

Ms. Beller does a fantastic job of describing the scenes of the Canadian mountains lifestyle. Not many people around to help, so the journey to find help was treacherous, especially in the middle of the winter. A lifestyle I don’t think I could handle. But I love reading about these mountain people who have chosen this journey.

That’s all I want to say about this book, to say more would give too much of he plot away. This is the third book in the Heart of the Mountain series by Misty Beller. I strongly encourage you to check out this entire series. And this book, ‘This Freedom Journey’ is a Novella so it only takes a couple of hours to read! A copy of this book was provided by Celebration Lit Tours and the author for me to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions in this review are mine only.

A Inside Look at the Cover for This Freedom Journey

My book covers are one of my favorite parts of the creative process! With most of my books, I have the cover done early, usually as I’m first brainstorming the story. I love to have the heroine on my cover, and I work hard to make sure the woman on the front matches the heroine I’m envisioning for the story. That way I can describe her in the novel the way she looks on the cover. Sometimes I even work in the outfit she’s wearing on the cover!

This Freedom Journey is a novella in my Heart of the Mountains series, so I wanted the cover to be similar in layout and style to the other books in that series. The setting is winter in the Canadian Rockies, so I knew Mary (the heroine) had to be bundled warmly! Funny story: Mary is mentioned in the other two books, although they’re set later in her life. When I first described her in the other books, I imagined her with amber brown eyes. When I chose the final cover for This Freedom Journey, I had to go back and change the amber brown eyes in those other manuscripts to the riveting blue on the cover. 😊

Reading Is My SuperPower – Review

“If you love a mix of historical and contemporary, this is the perfect collection for you. Each story gives readers a taste of each individual author’s style and voice, so it’s also a great way to ‘meet’ some authors you’ve perhaps never read before. The stories are all unique and sweet, with tender romance, humor, and lots of heart. A great weekend read!”

Uplifting Reads – Review

“So these five stories, all woven together by this mystical locket, all have their own charm (pun somewhat intended). I think romance readers will find that at least one of these couples and stories appeals to them. Another great summer day read.”

Cafinated Reads – Review

“This was a good, quick read. I enjoy reading anthologies and this is one of the best collections of romances I’ve read in quite some time. These authors truly knew what to bring their fans and gave them a beautiful book filled with hope, longing and inspiration.”

Remembrancy – Review

“Each author in Legacy of the Heart lends her voice and style to the overall collection that has a strong cohesion with the introduction of the locket. A definite must-read from lovers of novellas, lovers of romance, or lovers of a great story collection.”

Christian Bookshelf Reviews – Review

“Legacy of the Heart was a wonderful novella collection. I enjoyed all five of the stories and liked how some were historical and others were contemporary. The way the locket played a part in each novella was interesting and I really enjoyed how it connected them.”

Locks, Hooks and Books – Review

“I enjoyed all five of these stories. I did find them predictable but I did not care. Such a good, sweet, clean, and romantic book. I give Legacy of the Heart 4 1/2 stars. It is most definitely worth a read.”

Heidi Reads… – Review

“I enjoyed the stories in this collection and seeing the locket pass from one character to another. The first two stories are historical, and the last three are contemporary.”

Splashes of Joy – Review

“Legacy of the Heart is a collection of 5 really wonderful romance stories. For me, reading these stories in the order that’s in the book was better for me to understand and get the full stories. . . . What interest and fun it was to see this locket play out in each other the stories, in its own way. I highly recommend this book for those looking for a good clean romance collection.”

Among the Reads – Review

“I enjoy novella collections that have a common thread woven through them like this. The authors did a great job with the continuity of the theme. I was impressed by the way the characters who were introduced in one story were so naturally and seamlessly carried into the next as the main character.”

Brittany McEuen – Review

“Legacy of the Heart was such an enjoyable novella collection! . . . I liked the continuity that the locket brought to the collection, yet, I also appreciated that the novellas were each unique in the way the locket played into the plot. . .

This is definitely a good collection to grab hold of for fans of sweet and inspirational romance!”

The Solace Of Water by Elizabeth Byler Younts

C5659354-E89C-4F92-8BCB-FBBCC231D77E.jpeg

“Younts has set herself apart with this exquisite story of friendship and redemption . . . I’ll be talking about this book for years to come.” —Rachel Hauck, New York Times bestselling author of The Wedding Dress

In a time of grief and heartache, an unlikely friendship provides strength and solace.

After leaving her son’s grave behind in Montgomery, Alabama, Delilah Evans has little faith that moving to her husband’s hometown in Pennsylvania will bring a fresh start. Enveloped by grief and doubt, the last thing Delilah imagines is becoming friends with her reclusive Amish neighbor, Emma Mullet—yet the secrets that keep Emma isolated from her own community bond her to Delilah in delicate and unexpected ways.

Delilah’s eldest daughter, Sparrow, bears the brunt of her mother’s pain, never allowed for a moment to forget she is responsible for her brother’s death. When tensions at home become unbearable for her, she seeks peace at Emma’s house and becomes the daughter Emma has always wanted. Sparrow, however, is hiding secrets of her own—secrets that could devastate them all.

With the white, black, and Amish communities of Sinking Creek at their most divided, there seems to be little hope for reconciliation. But long-buried hurts have their way of surfacing, and Delilah and Emma find themselves facing their own self-deceptions. Together they must learn how to face the future through the healing power of forgiveness.

Eminently relevant to the beauty and struggle in America today, The Solace of Water offers a glimpse into the turbulent 1950s and reminds us that friendship rises above religion, race, and custom—and has the power to transform a broken heart.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

This was a very interesting read set in the 1950s when segregation and racial issues were sadly very different that what they are today. A very different read that anything I’ve read before. Delilah and her pastors husband lost their 4 year old son while living in Montgomery. They were not handling this well, especially Delilah. She blamed her older daughter for her sons death, and she just couldn’t understand how her husband could move on with his life of preaching and leading their church. Deciding the relocate and start over, they moved to her husband’s hometown in Pennsylvania near an Amish community. Amish mom Emma and Delilah became friends, as well as Emma and Sparrow, Deliah’s oldest daughter. But no one wanted to tell what happened to the boy. There were secrets on every turn, with both the Evans family and the Amish family.

There is a lot going on in this book. The blended relationship between the Evans family and the Amish wasn’t suppose to happen because in that era and in some areas, blacks and whites didn’t associate with one another. But Delilah-Deedee, Emma and Sparrow needed each other, they understood each other and was able to comfort one another. Each character in each situation played their part so well. I was mesmerized by this story. I had to keep reading so I wouldn’t miss anything that was coming next. There are many twists and turns, many secrets revealed that hurt people to the core. Secrets that were to be kept that way but hurting people have a way of hurting someone else. And having everything out in the open help the healing to begin.

I don’t want to get into anything else happening in this story, I couldn’t do it justice, and it would ruin the read for someone else and I hate when that happens. But I strongly encourage you to read this book, read the difficult situations happening. And also read the love, mercy and grace of the Lord, the redemption through forgiveness that is so powerful in this book. I received this book from TLC Tours to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 55.

BOOK BLURB:

#Sophie Strong

9FA8C672-B55E-415B-B14F-C5E5423BA4BB.jpegA hurricane’s coming, and eleven-year-old Sophie Washington’s typical middle school life in the Houston, Texas suburbs is about to make a major change. One day she’s teasing her little brother, Cole, dodging classmate Nathan Jones’ wayward science lab frog and complaining about “braggamuffin” cheerleader Valentina Martinez, and the next, she and her family are fleeing for their lives to avoid dangerous flood waters. Finding a place to stay isn’t easy during the disaster, and the Washington’s get some surprise visitors when they finally do locate shelter. To add to the trouble, three members of the Washington family go missing during the storm, and new friends lose their home. In the middle of it all, Sophie learns to be grateful for what she has and that she is stronger than she ever imagined.

AN EXCERPT FROM THE BOOK

1CF30496-E816-457C-8818-931DDAF9470F.jpeg

“Ahhhhhowwwww!!!” my little brother Cole’s screams combine with our dog Bertram’s howls, as a blinding light flashes near the backyard. The hair on my arms stands on end. We zoom to the kitchen race car fast.

“Mooom!” I call.

Thunder booms. I cover my ears to stop the ringing. My mother, wild-eyed, joins us.

“It’s lightning!” she cries, pulling Cole and me in for a group hug; Bertram shivers in the middle.

Outside, rain pounds down in sheets. The power cuts off.

“Great,” says mom, as she stumbles through the blackness to the pantry to find candles and a lighter.

For about three minutes, we huddle together quietly in the dimly lit room.

“What do we do now?” Cole breaks the silence.

He edges way too close to me, and I have the urge to shove him off like I usually do, but I feel sorry for my little brother because if I’m scared, I’m sure he’s terrified.

Poot!

“Ewwwww! You are so nasty, Cole!” Now I do push my little brother back. Leave it to him break wind at a time like this.

“Excuse me,” he says.

My mother starts giggling.

“I can’t believe you’re laughing, Mom!” Pinching my nose, at the sulfurous odor I stamp my feet.

The lights flick back on, and I squinch. Bertram barks and wags his tail happily.

I exhale, then sharply breathe back in a few seconds later, when we hear a clatter coming from the garage.

“Wait here, kids,” our mother cautiously moves toward the door that leads outside.

“Be careful,” I warn.

THIS BOOK IS FOR READERS AGES: 7-12

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

This is the cutest book and it is so well written for girls in the sweet ages of 7-12, just before the teenager phase hits. The author includes a lot of fun and laughter in this book that captures the hearts and minds of children this age. She also deals with some real life situations that this age will more than likely have to face. Sophie’s family had to relocate very fast because of an ongoing hurricane, and the vivid details of this time in Sophie’s life may help someone else one day. The author also deals with friendships-the goods and the not so goods, cultural issues that are so real today, immigration and with issues faces with people here. And I appreciate that Ms. Ellis writes all of this through the eyes and mind of Sophie, so that other pre-teen girls can associate with what is going on. The natural disaster that happened, the hurricane was an eye openers for everyone, seeing first had what happens to families.

Overall I really like this book and I encourage others with young girls to pick up a copy of this book. And I haven’t read the others in this series, but by the covers, they look to be just as fun and entertaining! I received this book from ……… to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 55.

Launch – Interview with the Author

1. What was your motivation behind writing THE TRUTH BETWEEN US?

One of my goals in writing is to have a deeper meaning come through the story. Since this book is the second in a series, I always knew April and Sean would get their happy ending, but choosing the inspirational thread was a little more challenging. I wanted to show how even the strongest of people can hurt in silence. April is tough, guarded and defensive. But she also has a myriad of wonderful qualities—loyalty and kindness—if she would lonely allow herself to love. As her arc progressed, I could clearly see her need to understand unconditional love and did my best to show how God’s love doesn’t come with strings or conditions.

Remembrancy – Review

“In The Truth Between Us, Gray focuses on how the unconditional love of one person covers over years of fighting to measure up to others expectation, seeking acceptance to the point of losing who you are meant to be.

It’s not an easy road to traverse, there are switchbacks, wrong turns, potholes, and deep ruts to navigate along the way. But with friends to navigate her back to the route, April just might find herself.”

Katie’s Clean Book Collection – Excerpt

Chapter 1 – Sean

Nine months, twenty-seven days, and four hours.

The last time he’d had contact with the woman he was supposed to marry. The woman who’d chosen misguided loyalty and lineage over his unconditional love.

Sean drummed his left fingers against the steering wheel, his right hand occupied with the ring April had so easily returned. He slid the smooth gold onto his pinky, the same way he had in the jewelry store to measure its size. It stopped at his knuckle, the light bouncing off the diamond in an array of beautiful colors.

All-of-a-kind Mom – Review

“The second book in Tammy Gray’s Bentwood series, and it was just as attention-grabbing as the first! This one has April as the main character, and I was completely hooked into her and her life!

I was enthralled and captivated by her story…

Ms. Gray skillfully wove life lessons, and much truth, into this story line. We need to let go of who we think others are demanding us to be, and look for the person God wants us to be.”

Christian Chick’s Thoughts – Review

“When I started reading The Truth Between Us, I wasn’t sure what to think. . . . But as I kept reading and got to know them each better, I found myself drawn into the story, which ended up being a beautiful tale of redemption and forgiveness.

…Though it took me a while to get into, The Truth Between Us is a really engaging story, and I’ll definitely be coming back for book three.”

The Power of Words – Review

“I thoroughly enjoyed this story and am thrilled to have discovered the writing of Tammy L. Gray. The Truth Between Us is an extremely well-written relationship drama with a strong, compelling plot and themes of grace and redemption. Honestly, I never wanted to put it down.”

Uplifting Reads – Review

“They have such a beautiful and rich past together, stretching way back to their early days. And it just feels like so much was a misunderstanding that they never had a chance to work through. Reading this was a great way to relax on a hot summer’s day. I want to read the first book in the series now, to get a better understanding of this book. And I would be interested in reading the next one to follow up on where everyone goes, and to figure out what is happening with some of the other characters.”

My Scribbler’s Heart – Review

“I appreciate how Tammy Gray has met these characters where they are at, largely broken and faithless. The subtle introduction of Christianity is unseen and realistic, given entry by the desires written on their hearts, the natural law, and those God has put in their path.”

Locks, Hooks and Books – Excerpt

Chapter 2 – April

She slipped away quietly and continued toward the altar as if the wedding march were playing through the wind. A melody imprinted in her soul with each careful step.

At the front, the white wooden arbor draped with lace and held together at the corners by bouquets of pink roses, was just like the one April had seen in a magazine, but Sean had staunchly vetoed the idea of a fancy arbor, not wanting anything to distract from the beauty of their venue.

Or the beauty of his bride, he’d said, ruining her chance to argue. He was the only person she knew who could make her cave with so little effort.

C Jane Read – Review

“Once I connected with the characters I couldn’t put the story down. This is an emotional story filled with a powerful message of discovering yourself, a wonderful example of unconditional love and what trust really means.”

Reading Is My SuperPower – Review

“The Truth Between Us takes us on a roller coaster of emotions, from passion to anger to hurt to redemption and everything in between. Sean and April are complex characters and their story is as layered as they are. Tammy L. Gray is extremely skilled at writing in such a way that the reader feels part of the story too, and nothing feels forced or out of place. The sweet ending and the undertones of redemption do not cancel out the rawness of the story itself, rather it gives the journey an edge of grace that makes it all worth it.”

Book by Book – Review

“So, if you like to read romantic, character-based fiction, add The Truth Between Us to the TBR. Tammy L. Gray tells the story so well that it’s hard not to enjoy it. I know I certainly did (so much so that I’m once again left very eager to read more of the series), and I recommend it.”

Author Austin Ryan – Review

“With The Truth Between Us, I had nothing to worry about, and here’s why: Sean Taylor.

I had a hard time liking the other main characters until later in the book. But Sean, I loved from the start, for the same reasons all the Bentley Brats love him: he’s funny, he’s daring, he’s passionate, he’s authentic.

…I found a story that shows the great impact of being loved unconditionally, and how very different that kind of love is from the conditional kind.”

Faithfully Bookish – Excerpt

Chapter 3 – April

The hostess smiled at her warmly, and April motioned toward the man already standing to greet her. Aiden had secured a table next to the towering windows at the back of room. They faced north, allowing the sky to reflect the beauty of dusk without the spotlight of the setting sun. With the light to his back, a halo encircled his blond head and saintly face. Lucifer himself would be jealous of the effect.

Wishful Endings – Excerpt

Chapter 3 – April

“I pay attention.” His tone was casual, as was the way he dismissed the waitress with a nod. “Especially to people who fascinate me.”

“Careful Aiden, one might think you’re flirting.” She was amazed at the ease in which she threw out those words when warning sparks were firing through her body. “You forget I’ve known you too long to be charmed by your looks and good manners. You offered a proposition. Get to it.”

Tell Tale Book Reviews – Excerpt

– Sean

Sean wasn’t sure about anything anymore except that in three days he’d be face to face with the two people who’d trampled his heart. “Surprising her is the only way I’ll know if we still have a chance.” She was too good at hiding her feelings. Too good at shutting out every single emotion she didn’t want to feel.

“Okay. But know this. If a blow up occurs, I will take her side.” Andrew had abandoned the Duncan kingdom and had admitted more than once that he didn’t understand his sister’s choices. Still, his loyalty was unwavering.

Rockin’ Book Reviews – Review

“This is a great story. I shows just how evil people can be and how power and money can tear a family apart.

The characters are well-developed and I enjoyed the group of friends. The way they continued to remain close for so many years was fun to see…

I would recommend this book to other readers.”

Redeemed Hope Dweller – Review

“There’s an abundance of depth and richness and beauty to this book and the series it’s in, to its characters and their relationships, and to the themes present throughout. I’m very much looking forward to revisiting all these characters that tug on my heartstrings, that make me think, and that have become real to me in Ms. Gray’s next addition to the Bentwood Series.”

Among the Reads – Review

“I really loved Sean. He was so alive. His love for April was so incredible it almost hurt to see. He’d loved her ever since they were kids. Waiting patiently. It was the kind of love every girl dreams of. A sacrificing, forever kind of love. Sigh…

This book chews you up, spits you out and then puts you back together again. It leaves you with tears in your eyes and yet a satisfied kind of warmth in your chest at the end…”

Christen Krumm – Review

“If you are needing a sweet escape from this summer heat (and let’s be honest … with the heat wave this week, who doesn’t?) you aren’t going to want to miss Tammy L. Gray’s The Truth Between Us.

The newest addition to Gray’s Brentwood series is every bit as toe tingling as I hear the first one is…

I felt like this book was down to earth. It was a little bit gritty — just like you’d encounter in real life, and I found that very refreshing.”

Heidi Reads… – Review

“I’ve been eagerly anticipating April and Sean’s story since meeting them in the first book and wondering how on earth the author planned to get them back together. . . . They have great chemistry, even when they are in the midst of conflict, and the process of reconciliation was gratifying. I appreciated the positive influence of Caroline, a newcomer to the group of longtime friends, and once again I’m anxiously awaiting the next book in the Bentwood series!”

The Truth Between Us
(Bentwood #2)
By Tammy L. Gray
Inspirational Contemporary Romance
ebook, 252 Pages
July 12th 2018

Nine years to win her. Three years to love her. And one decision that destroyed it all.

April Duncan was raised with three clear truths: the family name is absolute, ambition and success rule over every emotion, and love always comes with strings attached. Image was everything in her carefully crafted world… until the mirror cracked.

Sean Taylor was April’s best friend, the one man who taught her it was okay to let her guard down and to rely on someone. She trusted him. She loved him. Which made his deception the darkest kind of cruelty.

Now, nearly a year later, she’s ready to leave her failed engagement in the past and get back her life and her estranged family, even if it means dating a man solely for his connections. She’ll never again choose love over loyalty.

Sean has spent his entire life breaking barriers, facing challenges, and never giving up. Until one impossible choice destroyed his future and left him no option but to flee from the woman who annihilated his heart.

Now he’s back in Bentwood and determined to make her hear the truth and rebuild the trust he shattered. But April has become a mere shell of the woman who claimed his heart long ago.

Winning her back is more than just seizing a victory, because if he fails… the girl he’s loved for a lifetime will disappear forever.

The Truth Between Us is the second book in the Bentwood series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but it is recommended that you begin with book one to get the full experience among this tight group of family and friends.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS MOVIE

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS MOVIE

I don’t watch a lot of movies, but because of all of the raving reviews, I had to watch his one. And as other have said, I felt as though I was back in the early Bible days of Paul as he lived his life here on earth. I was in awe of how the flashbacks creates as atmosphere of spiritual yearning as Paul writes several letters to Luke. As well as the visits between the two as Luke spends time with Paul in his last days. Being a Christian and knowing a lot of Paul’s story, things like Luke being able to get Paul’s story enough to write the book of Acts was just so neat to watch acted out. Because as a Christian, I know it’s not just acting, it’s truth.

I think the actors did an outstanding job of portraying the Bible character they played. And to put the emotions and such strong feelings into the story made it even more real. This is a movie that every Christian should watch. No matter how much you think you know about Paul’s Journey, watching this movie will Paul to life in a whole new way! I’m about ready to watch it for a second time!
I received this DVD movie from FrontGate Christian Blogger Network to watch and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal  Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 55.

Racing the Slow Girls

A recipe for fast-paced, comical, Amish adventure— Ingredients: Three fun-loving teenage boys on bicycles. Mix in an adorable little girl on a pony, a few spunky teenage girls, and a hint of romance. Directions: Place the characters in a beautiful setting, such as Holmes Co. Ohio. Roll in the boys on bikes. Stir up a few harsh words spoken carelessly. Add plenty of retaliation by the girls. Place in the heat of a family emergency until everyone is completely undone. Sit back and enjoy an Amish adventure with a cup of coffee.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Racing the Slow Girls

This is a fun and enjoyable story, that is until remarks by some of the teenagers started to be not so nice, And the fun things the boys were yelling at the girls turn into being not so nice comments from other guys. Then there is sweet Libby who wanted Daniel to meet her family, and she was such a sweetheart.

OVERALL THOUGHTS ON THESE THREE NOVELLA’s

I really enjoyed all of these stories! I always wish for them to be longer, but then I do enjoy being able to read each story in one setting, which is what I usually do! If you enjoy a good clean Amish story, or maybe you have never read anything Amish, this would be a great way to start. And these are three stories by three amazing author! You just can’t go wrong with either story! A  copy of this book was provided by Celebration Lit Tours and the author for me to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions in this review are mine only.

Excerpt

“I’m getting married this wedding season, too!” Naomi Yoder blurted out before she could stop the words from pouring from her lips.

Her sister, Ruthie, sucked in her breath and covered her mouth, then quickly recovered from the shock.

Her best friend, Katie Troyer, squealed and pulled Naomi into a hug. “So he asked you, then?” Katie gushed, a giggle exploding from deep within her.

Not exactly!

Ruthie sat across from them. “Who asked you? Jeremiah?”

Naomi nodded, enjoying the attention she was getting over her fake announcement.

Annie Lapp, who’d walked over to their house to discuss a community quilt project, sank into the wicker chair nearest the swing where Naomi and Katie sat. “I don’t believe you, Naomi; you’re a liar!”

Naomi felt her blood run cold despite the heat of the morning sun beaming across the covered porch; her heart drummed against her ribs like a team of horses galloping at full speed. Of course, it was a lie, but she didn’t have much experience with lying the way Annie did; was it possible the girl’s bad habits were rubbing off on her? She hadn’t meant to say it, especially in front of Annie, who was the biggest gossip in the community. If only Katie hadn’t made her jealous with her own wedding news to Benjamin Mast. Not only had it made her worry that she was the last to make such an announcement from her age group, but Naomi just couldn’t take another minute of Annie’s or her sister’s teasing.

Hearing the word spinster coming from her own sister’s mouth had caused her to overreact, and now it was too late to take it back. Not only would Annie tell the entire community about her lie, but she would also add her own lies to make the situation worse. Annie annoyed her with her constant invasive prying, just so she’d have something to gossip about. Well, this time, Naomi had gone and given her plenty to wag her tongue about.

Book Tour Grand Finale for
Alaskan Hideaway
By Beth Carpenter

We hope you enjoyed the tour! If you missed any of the stops

you can see snippets, as well as the link to each full post, below:

Launch – Note from the Author

Welcome to the book tour for Alaskan Hideaway, the third book in the Northern Lights series. In this story, you’ll meet Mac Macleod, who is being hounded by the paparazzi after his daughter’s murder. He takes his daughter’s dog and moves to a little cabin in Alaska, where he can be alone in his grief. But he doesn’t count on his new neighbors, Ursula Anderson and her animal-loving goddaughter Rory, who can’t seem to help getting tangled up in his life…

Paulette’s Papers – Excerpt

Suddenly Ursula smiled. “Look at that.” She inclined her head toward the dog.

Mac turned. The cat had come down from the cabinet and was gingerly touching noses with the pit bull, who thumped her tail against the floor. After a moment, the cat rubbed against the big dog’s face and then curled up against her. The dog seemed fine with that.

Ursula chuckled. “That’s quite a ferocious beast you have there. What’s her name?” She took a sip from her cup.

Mac glanced down at his plate. “Blossom.”

Ursula snorted and almost choked on her coffee. Once she quit coughing, she grinned at him. “Blossom? Really?”

Hearts & Scribbles – Excerpt

Mac handed her the cellophane-wrapped bundles. “For you.”

Ursula gathered the three, no, four bouquets in her arms. “Thank you, but why are you bringing me flowers?”

“I want to apologize.” Actually, from the pained expression on his face, the last thing he wanted was to apologize, but he was doing it anyway. This should be good.

Thoughts of a Blonde – Excerpt

“Who’s Andi?” Rory asked. “You talked about her before.”

Mac’s heart tightened, but he kept smiling for Rory’s sake. “My daughter, Andrea. Everyone called her Andi for short.”

“Rory is short for Aurora,” Rory explained.

“Aurora is a beautiful name.”

“Does Andi live in your house?”

“No.” Mac sucked in a slow breath. Ursula was watching him with sympathetic eyes. “Andi died.”

It’s All About the Romance – Excerpt

“I suppose the only drawback is that now they all know I’m here.”

“Oh, they already knew. Terry says he spotted you buying groceries weeks ago. Word got around. It’s just that Alaskans figure if you want privacy, they’ll leave you alone.”

He chuckled. “All but you, I guess.”

Andi’s Book Reviews – Review

“This was a beautiful story of fierce love for one’s child, even when that child isn’t biologically yours. It’s about fighting for what is right and never giving up hope. It’s about learning how to forgive yourself when things happen that are out of your control. (And honestly, so much of life is out of our control.) And it is about learning how to love again. I really enjoyed every one of these characters, particularly the spunky Rory.”

underneath the covers – Excerpt

“That’s not going to happen.” Mac laid his hand over Ursula’s. “We won’t let it happen. That’s what you need to tell Rory. That these people want to meet, but she doesn’t need to worry. We’ll take care of everything.”

“We?”

“Okay, you. Officially, you’re the only one who can make that promise. But I intend to help in every way I can.”

The Power of Words – Review

“Beth Carpenter is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers in the Harlequin Heartwarming line, and I thoroughly enjoyed Alaskan Hideaway. Carpenter writes with a strong sense of place, good character depth, gentle humor, and creative storylines…

Alaskan Hideaway is a beautiful and heartwarming story. I look forward to more of Beth Carpenter’s writing.”

Katie’s Clean Book Collection – Excerpt

He pulled her closer and brushed his lips against the top of her head. “I could talk all night, but what it boils down to is this. I’ve made mistakes, and I’ve tried to learn from my mistakes. After my wife died, I took great care to avoid any serious relationships. I put all my energy into raising my daughter.”

“It can’t have been easy, raising a daughter alone.”

“Not always, but it was rewarding. But that’s not my point. What I’m trying to say, is that you and Rory have become very important to me. I don’t know if I can be any good at a relationship but I want to try. If you’ll have me.”

Rockin’ Book Reviews – Review

“This is a wonderful story. I loved everything about it. I love small communities like the one in this story…

I highly recommend this book to other readers. It has a great plot and a sweet romance too.” – Vickie

“The Alaskan Catch by Beth Carpenter is the latest in the Northern Lights series and did not disappoint the reader! This was a very captivating tale of two people very familiar with loss and a feeling of void in their lives.” – LAWonder10

Book by Book – Review

“…I enjoyed the story of Alaskan Hideaway, and I’m sure other readers who enjoyed contemporary romance will enjoy this one, too. Though it’s the third in Carpenter’s Northern Lights series, it can easily be read on its own (but if you’re like me, Alaskan Hideaway will leave you wanting to go and read the first two, too).”

Among the Reads – Review

“Mac and Ursula were quite different. She was very friendly, positive and hospitable. Mac was … not. Both had lived through loss and dealt with grief, but the way they responded was different. And they needed each other. I may have liked them and their relationship even more because they were in many ways similar to my husband and myself.”

Reading Is My SuperPower – Review

“Alaskan Hideaway is a sweet story of friendship, community, empathy, and healing. The romance progresses at a natural pace (not too rushed, not too slow) and Mac’s Oklahoma cowboy self will have you swooning every time his drawl and use of darlin’ resurfaces. The delightfully-rendered setting will have you adding Alaska to your bucket list for sure, and each of the main characters has you fully invested in their story from the moment you meet them. This can easily be read as a standalone but you really must read the first two books at some point, too, because they’re just as good!”

Stacking My Book Shelves! – Excerpt

He’d just leave the plate on the bench beside the door. He commanded the dog to sit-stay and started for the porch. As he reached the second stair, the front door opened and Ursula stepped outside, shaking dust and gravel off a rug and all over him.

“Oh my goodness, I’m sorry.” Her voice was apologetic, but the corners of her mouth twitched.

“No problem.” Mac dusted his coat with his free hand. “I was just returning your plate.”

“That’s thoughtful, but you didn’t have to do that.” She smiled, and it was like a sudden flash of sunshine, warming him. Her silver-shot hair fluttered in the breeze. “Come on in.”

Janice’s Book Reviews – Review

“So nice that Mac was from the same town that I live. Enjoyed the characters. Always good with animals in a book especially dogs, loved the name Blossom.”

Becky on Books – Review

“I loved Alaskan Hideaway. It is loosely related to the first book in the series (The Alaskan Catch)–Ursula is Sam’s foster mother–and the characters from book two (A Gift for Santa) make appearances, but it would also work just fine as a standalone. If you can manage to read this book and not want to go back to read the others, you’re a stronger person than I am.”

Britt Reads Fiction – Review

“I really enjoyed this touching tale, set in Alaska. I liked that the main characters, Mac and Ursula were over fifty, a trait that is not very common in the books that I read. I loved the little girl, Rory. She was sweet, smart, and very believable.”

Kimber Li – Review

“Spending time, getting to know each other, bonding with Rory who loves Blossom, it’s all so splendidly and believably written for a couple of fifty year olds. The setting is well-done and believable for a misplaced Alaskan like me too…

This is a warm story set in a cold place. Bring it home today.”

Wishful Endings – Excerpt

“Your gates are cutting my guests off from the trails. I’d much appreciate it if you’d open them.”

He stared at her as if she’d suggested he cut off his foot. “You want me to let a bunch of strangers traipse across my property?”

“Only that little corner in the back.”

“That rather defeats the purpose behind private property, don’t you think?”

Inside The Mind of an Avid Reader – Review

“The many depths of emotions that you will read as you are reading through Ursula and Mac’s story will keep you emotionally in tune with the store. I thoroughly enjoyed it just as well as I have the rest of Beth’s work I have read.”

SilverWoodSketches – Review

“From the first chapter, I was instantly hooked. Certain stories evoke just the right imagery and emotion in a reader. Alaskan Hideaway is one of those books…

The perfect read for all ages, when you need that extra dose of hope for happiness, and the faith in second chances.”

Honeysuckle Dreams by Denise Hunter

About Honeysuckle Dreams (A Blue Ridge Romance)

  • Paperback: 320 pages
  • Publisher: Thomas Nelson (May 1, 2018)

After Brady Collins’ ex-wife dies, he receives devastating news—his nine-month-old son Sam isn’t his son at all. And Sam’s wealthy maternal grandparents want custody of the child. Brady knows he’s in for the fight of his life. But regardless of what any blood test says, Sam is his son, and Brady will go to any lengths to keep him.

Brady’s attorney tips him off that one major life change would virtually assure him of winning guardianship of baby Sam at the final hearing: an impending marriage. And his friend Hope is willing to step in as the loving and devoted fiance.

Local radio celebrity Hope Daniels has been driven by a solitary goal her entire life, and after a happy accident she’s finally offered her dream job. But if the truth comes out about her arrangement with Brady, she may miss the chance of a lifetime and stand in the way of a dear friend’s dreams.

As Brady and Hope make sacrifices to help each other in their times of need, they risk uncovering a truth neither of them expects to find.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Brady Collins finds himself a single dad after his ex-wife was killed. Not having regular childcare for baby Sam, Brady’s long time friend Hope Daniels babysits Sam much of the time while Brady works in his garage. Brady has a visitor one night that tips him off that his ex-in law’s are taking Brady to court for custody of Sam. Then he finds out his ex had been lying to him about Sam and his lawyer suggests that if he was married, he would have a much better chance. But the only woman in his life was his longtime best friend, Hope. What’s a man to do, being in such a fix as this?

Honeysuckle Dreams is another awesome read from author Denise Hunter. This is one of those books that has you hooked from the first page. The characters are just so realistic, I feel like I have new friends in Hope and Brady and the rest of the gang. I love the way each scene was so detailed, I found myself laughing and crying with Hope and Brady over the situation with Sam. And then when things were looking so grim for this sweet couple my heart was breaking as much as the two of theirs were. I just wanted to shake them both and say talk to each other, will you!

I don’t want to say more, it’s so much to say, so many details, but you need to read the book to find out! I highly recommend this one! I received this book from TLC Tours to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 55.

Minding the Light By Suzanne Woods Fisher

About the Book

Book Title: Minding the Light

Author: Suzanne Woods Fisher

Genre: Historical Romance

Release date: July 3, 2018

FIsher_MindingtheLight(2)Six long years ago, Captain Reynolds Macy sailed away from his bride, looking forward to the day when he would return to Nantucket Island with a ship’s hold full of whale oil. But when that momentous day finally arrives, Ren soon discovers that everything has changed in his absence. Everything. “Is nothing on this island as it appears to be?” he whispers in despair.

Unlike most islanders, bold and spirited Daphne Coffin doesn’t defer to Ren as an authoritative whalemaster, but sees through his aloofness to the aching heart beneath. She encourages him to return to his Quaker roots and “mind the Light,” finding solace in God and community. As Ren becomes the man she believes him to be–honorable, wise, faithful–she finds herself falling in love with him.

But how can she, when her heart is spoken for? Tristram Macy is Ren’s business partner, cousin, and best friend–and Daphne’s fiancé. Love always comes at a cost, but when is the price too high?

Suzanne Woods Fisher welcomes readers back to the Quaker community on Nantucket Island for this riveting love story, full of unexpected moments.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

After six years as a captain of a whaling ship, Ren has left the sea behind and has returned home. Did he return to life as it was when he left six years ago? Not a chance. Ren was definitely not ready for other changes in the lives of his family, or the changes in Nantucket. What will happen to the captain and his family now that he is finally home.

This second story in the Nantucket series has a lot of sadness, as well as dealing with so many different issues and situations. There are many twists and turns that keep the reader guessing at what is happening next. I like that the author deals with such issues as the secrets and deceit, hypocrisy, vengeance as well as substance abuse and racism, so many real life difficult situations. But Ms. Fisher does an amazing job of weaving all of these issues together, along with forgiveness and grace through a merciful God.

The duel story was interesting and fascinating. It was fun reading about the Nantucket life in the 17th century and compare it to the 19th century Nantucket lifestyle. Again Ms. Fisher does an amazing job of weaving the history of these two centuries with historical details so vivid that I felt like I had been right there in the realistic lives of these characters. There’s another Nantucket book coming and I can wait to read it!

I highly recommend this book to anyone. This is a nice clean book that is chunked full of history and enough events throughout that it will keep you entertained for hours. A copy of this book was provided by Celebration Lit Tours and the author for me to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions in this review are mine only.

8 Curious Facts you Probably Didn’t Know about Nantucket Island

This beautiful island, thirty miles off Cape Cod, is steeped in history. Here are just a few interesting reasons to add a visit to Nantucket to your bucket list.

1) During the first half of the nineteenth century, Nantucket was considered to be the wealthiest port in the world…all because of whale oil.

2) Petticoat Row is a 19th century nickname for a portion of Centre Street between Main Street and Broad Street. Many shops on Nantucket were run by women while the men were off to sea in whaling ships for years at a time. Quakerism, with its emphasis on equality, provided working women with community respect, value and esteem. The next time you’re visiting Nantucket, be sure to stop by the Petticoat Row Bakery for a morning glory muffin.

3) The use of laudanum (opium) was described by a visiting French as prevalent among the women of Nantucket. Loyal Nantucketers vehemently denied his claim. However, in the 1980s, construction workers digging to Nantucket’s sewer lines found heaps of opium bottles buried in the ground.

For centuries, laudanum was considered to be not only harmless but beneficial. Its very name in Latin is landare, which means to praise. Other names for it: Mother’s Helper (to sedate children), Sea Calm (for seasickness). It was used for all kinds of ailments, from sleeplessness to menstrual cramps to treatment of chronic pain, and available without prescription up until the twentieth century, when it was found to be highly addictive.

4) Nantucket Cent Schools were a carryover from England and the cost was exactly what the name implied. In New England they were kept by refined, thrifty women who often taught their own or their neighbors’ children until they were old enough to enter schools of a higher grade. I came across a story of a boy whose mother stuck a penny in his mouth each day so that he would remember to pay the teacher.

5) Moby Dick, written by Herman Melville in 1851, was based on a true-life event that occurred in 1820 to the Nantucket whaleship Essex and her crew. You can find out more about this ill-fated voyage if you visit Nantucket’s awesome whaling museum.

6) Speaking of…the whaling museum on Nantucket Island is called the Peter Foulger Whaling Museum. Peter Foulger was one of the early settlers to the island, and could be considered a Renaissance Man: inventor, surveyor, teacher, missionary to the Wampanoag Indians. And his grandson was none other than Benjamin Franklin.

7) Nantucketers were, for the most part, related to each other in the seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth centuries. The prosperous island was settled by a small group of families, with less than a dozen surnames: Coffin, Macy, Starbuck, Bunker, Hussey, Gardner, Mayhew, Swain, Barnard, Coleman, Worth, Mitchell. Those names are still common on the island.

8) There’s a good reason those surnames sound familiar to you—many of those early settlers had descendants who started business empires. Recognize these? Macy (retailer) and Folger (coffee).

A Most Noble Heir by Susan Anne Mason

About this book

When stable hand Nolan Price learns from his dying mother that he is actually the son of the Earl of Stainsby, his plans for a future with kitchen maid Hannah Burnham are shattered. Once he is officially acknowledged as the earl’s heir, Nolan will be forbidden to marry beneath his station.

Unwilling to give up the girl he loves, he devises a plan to elope–believing that once their marriage is sanctioned by God, Lord Stainsby will be forced to accept their union. However, as Nolan struggles to learn the ways of the aristocracy, he finds himself caught between pleasing Hannah and living up to his father’s demanding expectations.

At every turn, forces work to keep the couple apart, and a solution to remain together seems further and further away. With Nolan’s new life pulling him irrevocably away from the woman he loves, it seems only a miracle will bring them back together.

“Beautifully balancing sweet forbidden love with a father-son battle of wills, Mason proves to be a highest caliber author in historical inspirational romance. Set in England in 1884, this is a marvelously entertaining story of the search for identity and a struggle for acceptance for both Nolan and Hannah. The purity and tenacity of their love will leave readers tingling, and fans of Roseanne M. White will enjoy Mason’s web of nobility drama and breathlessly exciting conclusion.”–Booklist starred review

“This is a sweet story full of the historical details fans of Victorian fiction will appreciate. There is also plenty of faith and love leading this young couple to their happily ever after. The troubles facing Nolan and his father are realistic and heartrending, especially as the two struggle to reconcile the fallout from the earl’s devastating and life-altering mistakes.”–RT Book Reviews

“An immersive narrative and sympathetic characters are highlights of this heartwarming novel from Mason about the importance of family, the power of love, and the faith to pursue your heart’s desire. For readers seeking a well-written Victorian romance in the vein of Laura Frantz or Jocelyn Green.”–Library Journal

Now, as Calvin works to make amends, he meets Alice, a local nursery school teacher, and falls hard for her. But he has a secret that could threaten the happiness he’s finally found.
Alice shouldn’t like-or want-Calvin. He’s English, has a questionable past, and an even more questionable job. Still, she can’t help being intrigued. Though Calvin assures Alice that he’s worthy of her, she’s torn between surrendering to her growing feelings and steering clear of him.
When a sudden surge of criminal activity alarms the community and even targets Alice, Calvin fears that his double life has put everyone he loves at risk. As for Alice, she can’t help but wonder if the brave and honorable man she’s lost her heart to is far more dangerous than she could ever imagine.

About this Book

Sometimes we’re allowed to glimpse the beauty within the brokenness . . .

Savannah Barrington has always found solace at her parents’ lake house in the Berkshires, and it’s the place that she runs to when her husband of over twenty years leaves her. Though her world is shaken, and the future uncertain, she finds hope through an old woman’s wisdom, a little girl’s laughter, and a man who’s willing to risk his own heart to prove to Savannah that she is worthy of love.

But soon Savannah is given a challenge she can’t run away from: Forgiving the unforgivable. Amidst the ancient gardens and musty bookstores of the small town she’s sought refuge in, she must reconcile with the grief that haunts her, the God pursuing her, and the wounds of the past that might be healed after all.

Where Hope Begins is the story of grace in the midst of brokenness, pointing us to the miracles that await when we look beyond our own expectations.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Wow! The very first line of this book, ‘My husband is leaving me,’  had me captured, and I was hooked until I finished the last line! Savannah and Kevin’s marriage had been struggling for years, since the day thy lost their oldest daughter in a horrific accident. So even though Kevin was leaving, and had betrayed Savannah, it wasn’t completely his fault. But there was  so much heart wrenching hurt in their family, could they ever find relief from really not wanting to live the way they had lived the past 10 years.

This is a story that I felt so very sorry for both of the characters, as well as their almost grown children. As sometimes in real life, a marriage was breaking up because of the loss of a child. And Communication is the main problem here. As Kevin leaves their home, they are both torn to pieces, and both tries to find happiness with others, Kevin’s more severe than Savannah’s. But through many twists and turns in this story, they both were given a chance to search their own hearts and find forgiveness, restoration, mercy and grace in the Lord.

I have read all of the books by author Catherine West and each one just gets better and better, and I think this one is her best ever! I appreciate that in ‘Where Hope Begins’ Ms. West deals with horrific situations such as the loss of a child, suicide, and marriage problems because these are real life situations that happen to people every day. And reading this book could very well help someone in situations such as these. And I also appreciate that Ms. West weaves scripture and the Lord as the only way these characters would find forgiveness and restoration in their lives.

Overall, you can tell I love, love this book! And I highly  recommend ‘Where Hope Begins’ to everyone! Because if you are not going through one of these issues, I’m sure you have someone in your life that is going through these things! I received this book from TLC Tours to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 55.
