MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Brooke Novak starts her new job in Hollydale  at the community center as the director, but she has her work cut out for her. The center is rundown and her job is to make it shine in the community again within six months. Things are not off to a good start, with officer Jonathan coming around so much in reference to a case he is working on. But then he is easy on the eyes and easy to talk to, so coming around could be a good thing.

I really did enjoy this sweet romance by Tanya Agler. I enjoyed watching the characters as they grew as the story unfolds. I quickly fell in love with Jonathan and Brooke and their personalities. And it was sweet watching how everyone supported Brooke so much as a new member of their community. There’s a bit of mystery going on here as well,  that kept officer Jonathan on his toes. The mystery will keep folks reading, but so will the romance. We have to find out all of the details with Jonathan and Brooke. And Tanya Agler does just that in this story. I love her attention to detail in describing the different scenes, and in the personalities of each character. I can’t wait to read what’s next from Agler. The Single Dad’s Holiday Match is the first book in her new series, Smoky Mountain First Responders. I love that the series is set in the quaint little town of Hollydale and we could see what was happening in the lives of former character from the first series. If you enjoy contemporary sweet Romances with a touch of mystery, you will love this one.

About the Author

Tanya Agler is a write-at-home mom, wife, and beagle and bunny wrangler who writes sweet contemporary category romance, three of which have been published by Harlequin Heartwarming. She moved often as a child, attending twelve different schools before attending the University of Georgia where she received degrees in journalism and law.

She lives in Georgia with her wonderful husband and her four kids (Kath, MJ, Cupcake, and Chunk). She often talks about her new rescue beagle, Linus, on Twitter and Facebook. I love Harlequins Heartwarming line and have enjoyed the other book in the Hollydale Heroines series and was glad to be able to read this one. I think The Soldier’s Unexpected Family is my favorite so far. I love this sweet amd charming small town of Hollydale and its people. Following her best friends death, Natalie has part guardianship over her friends son and has expectations of him in Hollydale, but the boy’s uncle has different plans for him and arrives in Hollydale to take the boy home with him. But not without pressure from Natalie that this precious child is to stay where he is.

Well, the convincing was more than Natalie though and I love the interactions between she and Aiden that lead to attraction that led to an oh so sweet romance that was just as charming as the small quaint town. Following the journey of Aiden and Natalie was so much fun and I always love when a child is in the mix, which made this story over the top for me. This is sure a re-read and I hope to read the entire series together. It’s always fun going back and reading all of the books together and this is a great series to do that with. I’m not sure if there are more books in this series would that would be great.

I love these characters and the two of Hollydale. The different scenes create a warm cozy feeling that makes me want to be in the story with them. Author Tanya Agler does a fantastic job of developing  the character’s throughout the story. I enjoyed a trip nack to Hollydale and the characters as well as new ones. If you love sweet romance stories, this is a wonderful book for you.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Lucie is trying to regain her life after her divorce. With her husband in jail for cheating so many people out of money, it was somewhat embarrassing and very difficult. But with her headstrong determination, she will make it work. With Caleb Spindler’s help.

I so much enjoyed this sweet Heartwarming romance. Lucie and Caleb works so well together and their budding relationship is fun and interesting to watch. I was interested in Lucie’s new business, it was fascinating to journey with her from the beginning of remodeling to the new clients and the different aspects of the business. There were a lot of characters, different yet interesting and the story was quite realistic because I felt I was among friends while I was reading and for that reason I didn’t want the book to end. My favorite characters were the adorable twins. Their sweetness adds an element to the story that just makes it shine. And I love love the interaction between the twins and Caleb and the love they have for him just melts my heart.

If you are ready for a sweet Heartwarming romance, Hallmark style, this is a great book for you to check out. This is sure a book for you Romance readers out there. And it is a nice clean one too!!

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK 

This is such a sweet read. Mike is a nice guy who made a big mistake in his earlier days. A mistake that sends his best friend out of town, for what he thinks is forever. Imagine his surprise when Georgie makes it back home to help her dear friend in his automobile garage. Although Georgie is not so sure she’s made the right decision because no one trusts her with their vehicles. Will Mike be able to rescue her, causing the town people to finally trust her?

Author Tanya Agler does an excellent job of creating the right characters for this story, developing their characters throughout the story. A story that is very well written. And an amazing debut novel! I quickly fell in love with Georgie and Mike, each with their own heartaches over the past, neither knowing what to do to fix it. And Mike’s daughter stole my heart immediately. She is such a sweet young girl, with a single dad who raised her well.

This story is all about dealing with a shaded past, forgiveness and second chances in life. Though it all doesn’t come easy. There was several difficult issues both Michael and Georgie had to deal with, including their past life relationship. But it comes together beautifully as you will find when you read this story for yourself. I encourage you to pick up a copy of The Sheriff’s Second Chance. If you enjoy clean romance, this is one is for you.
