MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
Joanna Weaver’s “At the Foot of Jesus” is a devotional that is more than a devotional. In this book, you get a devotional for each day of the year, but you also get a unique Bible Reading guide to help you read through the Bible. Also, with each chapter, there is a section for Going Deeper, a tool that will help you reinforce what you have read. So in addition to the wonderful devotional it is, this book can really be used for a Bible Study for Sunday school classes, small groups, or personal study.
The title of this book captured my attention, I wanted to see what way between the covers of this book. And even though there are devotions for each date on the calendar, you can pick this book up and any time, flip through it and find something that will help and encourage you. You will find verses such as Romans 8:28, In all things Good works for the good of those who love him, and Galatians 5:13, Serve one another in love. And so very many more verses and help for you when you need it. I love devotion books, and this one will stay with my collection of them.
I highly recommend At the Foot of Jesus for everyone. You can never have enough books like when you need to find help quick.
