You Are Love is a beautiful collection with a Scripture verse Journal and a set of 52 gorgeous scripture verse cards. I love the journal because I’ve been wanting something to write my memory verses in, and this is perfect. It had plenty of room for lots of scripture. I also fell in love with the You Are Loved scripture cards. This cards will be amazing to keep with your journal and memorize the verses. Or, if you like giving cards out, as my niece does, these cards are perfect. I encourage you to check this set out. The song Amazing Grace is probably the mist well loved song today, all over the world. In my lifetime, I have heard several people that do not attend church say that they love Amazing Grace, its their favorite song. Well, it’s mine too. Of all of the songs written, the words, the music, all of it together is a song that worships God. This special song still has a powerful affect on people today.

I was aware that John Newton’s life wasn’t perfect, and he made some pretty bad decisions in his life that caused him to go down a road of horrific sin. But after giving his heart to Jesus, all of that changed.

The world at that time was able to see what happens when God changes a man, lives within that man, and guides his steps. Out of this change came the beautiful song we all know and love today, the song Amazing Grace.

I think someone loving history would really love this book. Also, those who love to research old songs or love to know the meaning behind the old Hymns of Faith would love to get their hands on this book. It is my hope that you check out this wonderful book. I know you will love it as much as I do. I’m giving this book Five Stars.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Wow! I needed this book so much. And I think everyone does at some point in their Christian life. Sometimes life happens and we seem to go with the flow and we end up far away from what our lives should be. We have drifted away from our God without even realizing it. If you are like me and find yourself wandering, this book can help you put your like back in perspective.

Author Christine Caine does a fabulous job writing this book. And I like that she tells her own story and how she was in such a deep dark place in her life. And she choose to look at her own life and realize she had fallen from her relationship with God. Through her own experience, Caine pours her heart put with the raw experiences she has faced and then her journey back to following God. It’s wasn’t always a happy journey, but through obstacles she was hit with, and the fight that she was going to follow her God, she won the fight. I’m telling you ladies, this is one of the best books I have read in a good while when it comes to teaching and showing us how to really live our lives for our Lord. I know How Did I Get Here by Christine Caine will help everyone, wherever you are in life. This is a timely written book for our world today. Go check it out. These are not things that are easily accomplished, it takes work.

Part of this book was just OK for me. I found it difficult to connect with what Gaines was trying to say. Was he trying to brag on himself or was he really concerned about the people who would read his book? I can see this book helping the right people, and really, there is something here for everyone. I did learn a lot reading this book, I just kinda skipped over thr parts that wasn’t for me. So yeah, if this is something you have been looking for, hoping for, then I say get this book and read it! And enjoy it!

I have reviewed several books by Pastor Louie Giglio and I love them
This one is just as amazing. The book is full of fun and interesting facts about many different things in the world for children to learn. One thing that caught my attention is that God made everything on the earth, from the highest mountains to the deepest ocean. That about covers everything.

I like the space pictures as well. The illustrations are out of this world! They are fabulous to teach children. The colors will sure draw children and adults as well to this book when they see it on the shelves. The bright vivid colors and the vivid designs make for a lot of fun in children. This book needs to be in all Christian schools everywhere!

This is the most unique Devotional I believe I have ever seen. Each devotion is about different things that will help you in growing your faith. Each chapter ends with a prayer section and a Breath Grow and Think Section. In this section it reviews what you have learned, ask questions to help you better understand what you are studying.

This is not only a great Devotional, it can be an awesome Bible Study. Each has a scripture to read or memorize, the devotions are short, just a few pages, and with the Breathe, Think and Live questions it makes a perfect discussion chapter for study. If you are a Sunday school teacher, or a small group leader I highly recommend that you check out Take Back Your Life. And I really think young adults or teens would appreciate this Devotional. Whether it be for Bible study or devotions.

This book is precious! The art work is absolutely stunning, and even though a small child can not read the words, they can sure look at the beautiful illustrations and make up their own stories. I always encourage young children to do this. What a beautiful message this story is, and it is perfect for a bedtime story.

This is the most beautiful children’s book I’ve seen. I love everything about it. Author Amy Kavelaris does an incredible job with both this story as well as the illustrations. This would make a such a sweet baby shower gift. Or a gift for any occasion for a little one. This is definitely a book to keep out in the open for everyone to see!

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK 

As I read the book description to this book, I wondered how many people had past hurts and issues happened to them that still lingers deep in their heart. As I read the book, I realized that so many more than I could have imagined was in this category, myself included. There are so many real life stories in this book, and these stories made me want to keep reading to find out what the next persons story is. But most if all, this book was an eye opener for me in some areas of my life. About some things and people I though I had forgiven but I haven’t.

This book is a keeper for me. I want to go through it much slower than I did for this review. I think Off the Hook would be great for a Bible study group or a Sunday school class. But mostly, Off the Hook is a book that every Christian should read. There is so much chunked inside the pages of this book. You will be glad you checked this one out.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS COOKBOOK

As I was reading about the ministry of Operation Blessing from the materials I have and their website, I was in awe of how much, and how many people they are able to help. The reason for this cookbook is to raise money to carry on their mission. This recipe has tasty recipes that you and your family will be able to enjoy for many meals. I only tries a couple of them, but I plan to try more in the near future. We don’t eat a lot of international foods, but I found I can substitute ingredients to give it a flavor we can and will eat.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BIBLE 

I love this Devotional because it has interactions between children and their parents. I love the discussion time and that is gives questions to discuss after the devotions are read. There is also help for prayer time. It gives a sample prayer to pray together, or you can just pray the prayer they have here. I would add that anyone can pray that wishes to as well.

Now a bit about the book itself. The blue color is beautiful, with the nighttime scene on the cover. It all make you feel like its night, and time to read about God’s word together. You will also find Bible passages for each devotion.  And the pages are thick, shiny and durable. And it even has a front page you can gift it to someone. This beautiful Devotional book would be an amazing gift to a family. This is one I highly recommend!

Wow! What a really nice Bible this is. My copy is the black and brown LeatherTouch imitation. It’s a handsome looking Bible that I think would be awesome for any man. It just has that male touch and feel. But, anyone can use this Bible. This Tony Evan’s study Bible is the Christian Standard Bible (CSB). And just a little bit about the CSB Bibles by Holman, these Bibles stay as literal as possible to the Holy Bible’s original meaning without sacrificing clarity, making it easier to engage with Scripture’s life-transforming message and to share it with others.

Other things about this Bible that stand out to me is the study notes from Tony Evan himself, from his many sermons and teachings. The many articles and lessons. The questions and answers offered, and the videos it gives access to. The first page to each book has an intro, and the format is very attractive.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK 

This is a very interesting book. Robert Morris knows from experience how it is to be tired, stress out, and really just completely out of it because of the demands of life. Our society has completely forgotten what it means to ‘remember the sabbath’ because now days, everything goes on Sunday as if it is any other day. We forget to rest.

As I read through this book, so much of it hit right at me, because I’m with everyone else, I don’t give God the one day he requires from us. I appreciate that Robert Morris is so honest as he tells of his own struggles with these issues. And gives us as Christian’s what we should do in order to have that day of rest we all need to experience. I’m old enough that I remember when stores were closed on Sunday, and we would spend the afternoon after church with family and friends. People would actually visit each other on Sunday afternoons. I miss that time, and though it will never be like that again, we can choose to make the sabbath our day of rest.

This is a book that every Christian should read! I want to read it slow, a few pages a day, to fully get the meaning of this book. If you haven’t read Take the Day Off, I strongly encourage you to check out this book. And what a wonderful book to give friends and family for Christmas!

We here the phrase How Great Is Our God all of the time, we sing the song, we talk about it, and now we have a devotional that kids can read about the greatness of our God. This Devotional has 200 indescribable devotions that go through the Bible with amazing stories of God. The devotions are on a child’s level, they are short, there are pictures on the pages that go with what the kids are reading. Another thing with each devotion is a section that says HOW GREAT. I think this section is great for the kids because it is a scientific fact about something that goes along with the devotions. Like one of the devotions talk about Butterflies and the scientific facts are about Butterflies. Which I found amazing because it’s something I’d never heard! So you can see adults can benefit from this great book as well.

This is a really great book of devotions. The book itself is beautiful with its blue cover and the globe with all of the kids at different places in the world. And as you can see in the pictures that the inside is just as attractive, with pictures of kids and they are pictures that will capture any kids attention. If you are looking for a new devotions for the kids in your life, this would make an amazing Christmas gift or stocking stuffer! Though it says it’s for ages 6-10, I know younger kids that would love these devotions read to them. As you can tell, I love this Devotional book, and I sure hope you love it as much as I do.
