MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

It seems like FBI Special Agent Serena Jones runs into trouble no matter where she goes. This time is at an engagement party of an old family friend, Jack Hill, on Martha’s Vineyard, and she finds her friend dead. Could it be the fiancé? Or one of many friends and family?

Murder Mysteries are so much fun to try and figure out, and Sandra Orchard does a fantastic job of making that difficult for readers. Serena needed help so friends Nate and Tanner just happens to show up, both helping with the investigation, but both also trying to woo Serena.
And I can’t leave out Aunt Martha, whom I just love. This book is full of interesting characters, chills and thrills and enough twists and turns to keep your head spinning. But you will love this last installment in The Serena Jones Mysteries Series. I really hate to see this series end because I want to see more of Serena and Aunt Martha’s adventures. And who is Aunt Martha really? And does Serena pick Nick or Tanner as a dating partner? Of course you will need to read Over Maya Dead Body to find all the answers!

Sketchy politics and a palette of lies can’t stop Serena Jones from exposing the mastermind behind the daring theft of a priceless work of art

Serena Jones has a passion for recovering lost and stolen art–one that’s surpassed only by her zeal to uncover the truth about who murdered her grandfather. She’s joined the FBI Art Crime Team with the secret hope that one of her cases will lead to his killer. Now, despite her mother’s pleas to do something safer–like get married–Serena’s determined to catch thieves and black market traders.

When a local museum discovers an irreplaceable Monet missing, Serena leaps into action–and a whole heap of trouble.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

A Fool and His Monet is a pretty light mystery read. Serena Jones was high on the trail of a missing Monet from a local museum, which leads her into a whole lot of trouble. The clue just didn’t make sense, and didn’t pan out. But how about Aunt Martha’s mafia theory? I loved this lady! She was such a busybody that she wanted to know everything Serena was doing to try and catch the criminal. Aunt Martha was the best part of this story. Without her, I’m afraid I would have lost interest early on. I love Sandra Orchard books, but this one is not one of my favorites. And I just can’t put my finger on why.

If you enjoy a nice light cozy mystery, you will enjoy this interesting story. And it is a pretty quick read as well. This is a book I can recommend, its enjoyable enough to keep your attention throughout the book, and you will love Aunt Martha!  I received this book from Revell to read and review. MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Another awesome suspenseful read by Sandra Orchard that I thoroughly enjoyed. A lot of twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat and I didn’t want to put the book down! I did stay frustrated at Kate throughout the book because she just needed a good shaking. Her wishy washy personality was just uncalled for, she definitely needed to grow up! I do enjoy the author’s writing style, and will look forward to reading more books from Sandra Orchard in the future! If you enjoy a good, clean suspense, you really need to check this one out! And while you are at it, check out the first two books in this series!
