Welcome to my Book Review Blog. My goal is to connect readers with the wonderful and amazing books I am blessed to reveiw. And to introduce you to the talented and wonderful authors responsible for writing these books. May my love for books show through my reviews on this site.
About the book: Catie Caterpillar looks different from any bug Herbie and Bella have ever seen. When Herbie makes fun of Catie, Mayor Benny shows him why he should not judge anyone by how they look. In the end, Catie reveals a secret and the bunnies learn the joy of forgiveness.
Catie’s Secret is the second book in Laura Allen Nonemaker’s children’s series, God’s Secret Garden Adventures. Like the previous book, Benny’s Angel, Catie’s Secret invites young readers to join an exciting adventure while it teaches a valuable lesson.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
Cate’s Secret is a cute little book with a big valuable lesson. The story’s main characters, were Herbie and Bella, who were bunnies, and Catie the Caterpillar. While the bunnies were hopping around in Peaceful Meadow they saw Catie the caterpillar. Herbie made some ugly remarks about how Catie looked, and Herbie’s uncle Benny explained to him that beautiful things come from the inside. There’s more to the story, but I don’t like giving the main parts away, so you need to read the book to find out what happens with Herbie and Catie.
This is a really cute little book. The story talks about differences in the way people look, and that the beauty of a person comes from inside them, not what they appear to be on the outside. Using the caterpillar and butterfly is awesome to help kids understand this valuable lesson. The characters are adorable and kids will love them. The colors are vivid and bright, and the book cover is so very adorable that it will sure capture the attention of any child. This is a book you will want for your child’s library, so run out and pick up a copy today!
I received this book from Litfuse to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 55.
