MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK 

This is the sweetest Christmas book. I love all four of the stories. And I also love all four of these authors,  so I knew I was in for a treat with this book. Each of the four stories are about food, as you would expect. And four Amish Bakeries are featured here. I can’t choose a favorite because they are all amazing. And not only do you find delicious baked goods in all four stories you find romance as well.

Each story has its own unique character, crafted carefully by each author. And they all found their way into my heart.  Each character developed so well throughout the story, I found myself wanting to read more after each story ended. Each author did an amazing job of writing their story,  weaving everything together to come to a wonderful ending.

An Amish Christmas Bakery is one of my favorite Christmas books. If you are looking fkr something nice, clean and comfortable, this is just the book for you.  I highly recommend these sweet stories.

An Amish Reunion is four short stories by four of my very favorite authors! And I love to read short stories sometime⁰s because I can read one story in a sitting! And with Amy Clipston, Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller, and Kelly Irvin, I knew each story had to be an awesome read!

Each of these stories there is a reunion of some sort, and a need each have needs that bring them back to friends and family, and to the God they trust. These stories are short, somewhere around 100 pages, so they can be read in one setting. If you don’t have a lot of time to read, I highly recommend this book for you to read. I love the stories in this book. Each story taking me to a different place, with different people, but the stories are so similar. They are all encouraging, Uplifting, and will lighten your mood as you go through this season. I love them all! I don’t like picking favorites, and I think it’s something in each story we can learn from.

MY THOUGHTS ON THESE STORIES

I really enjoyed these four stories written by some of the best Amish authors out there.

A Legacy of Love by Amy Clipston, The Cedar Chest by Beth Wiseman, The Treasured Book by Kathleen Fuller, and The Midwife’s Dream by Kelly Irvin will fill many hours of entertainment for you. Each of these stories have difficult situations, but with each, the author weaves the difficulties together within the lives of these characters and gives us a story that will warm our hearts.

I have grown to love these collections of short stories because sometimes I just want to get away for a few hours with a heartwarming story that will make me forget life for a while. And these stories are just the medicine I need. If you love Amish stories, you need to check out An Amish Heirloom for that special getaway for yourself. You will be so glad you did! I highly recommend this book to everyone who wants a nice clean read!

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK 

Charlotte and Daniel are in love, but the problem is Charlotte is an Englisher, and she doesn’t seem to want to do anything about joining the Amish faith to be with Daniel for the rest of their lives. Daniel is getting so frustrated because he loves Charlotte, but the Bishop is putting the pressure on him because if there relationship is to go on, Charlotte needs to be doing something to lead them all to believe she is thinking about joining their faith. Even though she has lived in the Amish community for a long time, and considers the Amish as her family.

This book doesn’t have a lot going on, the main issue is Charlotte and Daniel’s disturbing relationship. Which makes this book much slower than the first two books in this series. This one is just lacking something, not an interesting. But, all in all, I would have read it anyway to see what happens at the end of the series, and to tie up some loose ends. Pick u this last book in Beth Wiseman’s An Amish Secrets Series. I received this book from Booklook Bloggers to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. My Thoughts On This Story

What a sweet story to read during the Christmas Season. The story is sad because two of these women lost their husbands, but God is in control of their lives. Author Beth Wiseman weaves together a story of love, strength, and grace in the lives of this family. A story you want to be sure to read this Christmas!

2. The Christmas Cat by Amy Clipston

Emma Bontrager is spending her first Christmas alone after her husband of 45 years, Henry, passed away in July. Although the Amish don’t normally allow animals in their homes, a big, fat, orange barn cat keeps coming into Emma’s house. She shoos the cat away, but it continues to appear in her house, settling on Henry’s favorite wingchair. But the cat isn’t the only Christmas visitor: a group of young people help bring the Christmas spirit to Emma, reminding her that love and hope abide.

My Thoughts On This Story

Another story that starts sad because of loss, and again, God is in control and shows His love and grace to Emma Bontrager. This time through a big, fat, cozy orange cat that doesn’t take no for an answer when Emma tells this furry friend to go outside. I love my furry gray cat, so Emma’s story was special! Cats can be a lot of comfort when we need a friend, just as this orange ball of fur was to Emma. And Emma’s surprise group of young people was like icing on the cake to make her Christmas special. Author Amy Clipston shows her excellent writing skills as she pins this heartwarming Christmas story that you are sure to love in this next Christmas season.

3. Snow Angels by Kelly Irvin

As a young man enjoying his rumspringa, David Byler gave his heart to an Englisch girl, but he eventually realized he couldn’t give up his Plain faith and family for her, so he let her go. He’s found a new love in his Bee County Plain community, Molly Shrock. Molly has been patient, waiting for the man she loves to love her back. Just as he is ready to propose, David makes a startling discovery: Bobbie McGregor, his Englisch love, is back. Will Molly’s prayers for a Christmas love be answered?

My Thoughts On This Story

Sometimes our past has a way of showing up unwanted, just as David Baylee’s did. Things were going well for David and Molly Shrock, but would David’s friend from the past ruin his and Molly’s relationship? Find out if Molly’s Christmas prayers will be answered her way in this third and wonderful Christmas story.

4. Home for Christmas by Ruth Reid

When a misdirected GPS sends Ellie Whetstone to the wrong address, she inadvertently finds herself breaking into the home of Amish man, Ezra Mast. Ellie hopes to fix up the house left by her aenti and sell it quickly, but a series of run-ins with Ezra and his young daughter have her questioning whether a hasty sale is the right move. Could this new place with its slower pace be the right home for Ellie?

My Thoughts On This Story

Ellie Whetstone has some explaining to do after her GOD sends her the wrong way! Ezra Mast is the man with the property Ellis is lead to. But what will Ellie do? Will she find a real chr surprise for herself? This last Christmas story in this book is another one you definitely don’t want to miss.

My Overall Thoughts On This Book 

I really enjoy reading these books of short Novella’s. And Amish Christmas Love is a book everyone who loves Amish stories will love to have during the Christmas Holidays. Each of the four stories only take a few hours to read, so you won’t have to read an entire book to find out the ending. A perfect book to have during Christmas. And four of my favorite Amish authors as well!

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

An Amish Home is four Amish Novella’s by four of my favorite authors. Each story is about a different family and the ups and downs that each Amish family go through. I love Amish stories because the Amish lifestyle is so peaceful and comforting. And each of the stories are just that. While reading each, I enjoyed the challenge of living my faith more and more in my everyday life. Each of these authors, Ruth Reid, Amy Clipston, Kathleen Fuller and Beth Wiseman gives us wonderful entertaining stories that will warm your heart.

MY THOUGHTS ON SILENT NIGHT

Wow, I loved reading about Bree, Kade, Samson and their family again! The Rock Harbor Series is one of my favorite series. It was really neat to read about a more mature Lauri too, since Kade had so many problems with her before. I just enjoyed the entire story! And this story is just what we have learned to love and expect from Colleen Coble! I hope for more visits back to Kade and Bree and Bree’s search and rescue dog, Samson.

MY THOUGHTS ON HOLY NIGHT

Holy Night is another great suspense from Colleen Coble. Bane and Leia is finally having the wedding they have been longing for. Everything is set in place, waiting, ready for the big day. That is until Leia gets a dreaded phone call that changes is all. And what choice does she have other than listen to the muffled voice on the other end. Especially when her sister, Eva’s life is at stake.

Even in this short novella, Colleen Coble does is again! She creates a fast pace story full of so much suspense that you just can’t put the book down. It can easily be read in one setting. The characters are awesome, so well developed that you feel like they are part of your world. Each scene that happens seems so very real. Thats what I love about Colleen Coble books! They are so realistic that you think you’re reading the events in the newspaper. If you enjoy suspense a at fast pace, then you don’t want to miss this one.

MY THOUGHTS ON A GIFT FOR ROSE

Rose is content to stay true to her Amish roots. This is why she broke up with her boyfriend, because he decided to join the military in the medical department, and Amish are not to go to war. But then Rose finds out a secret that changes her whole life. I really enjoyed really A Gift for Rose. Roses’ concerns are heartfelt because she is torn between her Amish beliefs and the love of her life, or so she thought he was. But she just can’t seem to find just where she fits in life. Sometimes this book is a bit depressing because of the issues Rose and her family faces, as especially it happening during the Christmas Holiday’s, but sometimes that is how life is.

Again Tricia Goyer delivers a heartwarming story with characters that you will love, and will warm your heart.  A lot of situations happened leading up to Christmas day for Rose’s family, and they were able to enjoy a surprise because of this at their Christmas meal. And Rose was the one who benefited the most, because she is the one who received the most special gift. If you are looking for a really good Christmas read, this is a good one to read!

MY THOUGHTS ON PLAIN PEACE

I love Beth Wiseman’s books and her Amish novels are wonderful! And Plain Peace is just as good if not better than the others by Ms. Wiseman. Anna’s grandfather is the bishop in their Amish community and his strict legalism rules are dividing its people, but the bishop can’t see what he is doing to his community of Amish, including his family. And the thing of it is, almost always, there are secrets that family are keeping because the are afraid of anyone finding out, because of the bishop’s rules.

I sometimes get so frustrated when I read about bishop’s and other men in their Amish communities and their strict rules they have for the people. Some just go too far, and this is what Anna’s bishop grandfather was doing. Enough so that none of the young men thought Anna was worth dealing with her grandfather. But when Jacob Hostetler moves into their community, all of that changes. The question is, will Jacob change the bishops mind, and will he start treating Anna and others in the community with a softer heart?

I love this book! Though it is frustrating to read about the bishop in the beginning, its worth the read because of the love and forgiveness, hope and acceptance Beth Wiseman creates in this story. The characters are awesome, and they are so realistic. Thats what makes the story so enjoyable, it seems so real, dealing with real life issues. You don’t want to miss this new book from Beth Wiseman.
