Gone Without a Trace
by Patricia Bradley

The past is repeating itself–and time is running out

It’s been more than two years since homicide detective Livy Reynolds’s cousin disappeared from Logan Point. Unlike most people in her hometown, Livy has never believed that Robyn left voluntarily. When Dallas private investigator Alex Jennings contacts her concerning a senator’s missing granddaughter who was last seen in Logan Point, Livy notices eerie similarities between the two disappearances. With self-doubt plaguing her and an almost instant dislike of the self-assured PI, she’s finding this investigation an uphill battle. But with the prospect of finding her cousin on the horizon, she’ll have to find a way to work with Alex–before it’s too late.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

This has been an amazing series that I very much enjoyed! Livy Reynolds’s cousin Robyn disappearing and a senator’s daughter disappearing is just to similar for Livy to overlook. Despite the fact that Livy didn’t care for detective Alex’s attitude, she has no choice but to work with him in order to find her cousin. Turning this story into a suspense thriller that will swipe you off your feet! There are so many twists and turns woven between the pages of this book I couldn’t decide who the guilty person was. When I thought I had it all figured out, the plot took a different turn. I just love books like this and I love Patricia Bradley stories. So if you are a suspense thriller kind of person, this is just the book you need. And it would really help to read the first two books in this series but you don’t have to. I just enjoyed it more having already read the first two books first.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Sometimes situations get so mixed up that its difficult to figure out who’s who or what’s been done! And this story is just like that. Ben  is determined to find out the story behind his dad’s death, and was glad Tony has information that may help him. But now Tony has been shot dying and has ask Ben to take care of his wife Leigh, which will be no easy task either. It is difficult for Ben to protect Leigh because they are both headstrong and butt heads. Not to mention the secrets she is keeping from him. And what about his secrets? And then there is the attraction to each other!

I love books like this because I keep trying to figure out what is going on, and there are so many twists and turns that I can’t. By the time I think I have it figured out, something else happens! The characters are really believable and realistic and your interested is sure kept throughout this book because you don’t want to put it down! If you are looking for a fast pace, thriller for a little excitement and entertainment, this book would be for you! I encourage you to check it out.

ABOUT THIS BOOK

While she’s stalking the truth . . . someone is stalking her.

Psychology professor and criminal profiler Taylor Martin prides herself on being able to solve any crime, except the one she wants most desperately to solve–the disappearance of her father twenty years ago. When she finally has a lead on his whereabouts, Taylor returns home to Logan Point, Mississippi, to investigate. But as she works to uncover the truth, someone else will do almost anything to keep her from it.
Nick Sinclair pens mystery novels for a living, but the biggest mystery to him is how he can ever get over the death of his wife–a tragedy he believes he could have prevented. Now that his estranged brother is the only family he has left, Nick sets out to find him. But when he crosses paths with Taylor, all he seems to find is trouble.
Join the chase as Taylor and Nick search the murky shadows of the past for the keys to unlocking the present–and moving into a future they never imagined.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Looking for her father ends up landing Taylor Martin into situations that she never expected. Taylor couldn’t find closure about her father walking out on his family until she had a chance to ask him why. But someone is trying to stop Taylor from finding her dad. And meeting Nick Sinclair makes Taylor’s life even more interesting. Especially since Nick’s brother is Taylor’s number one suspect.

This is an awesome debut novel from author Patricia Bradley. After reading the first few pages, I was captured! The characters were solid and believable, and I could truly feel the emotions Taylor felt when she talked about her dad. Tensions were high throughout the book because Taylor was getting to close to answers, which would expose to many people. I don’t like saying too much about what happens in the book, because it ruins it for me when people do that, so I will just say if you love suspense/thrillers, then this book is a must for you to read. Believe me, you will not be disappointed in the time and money spent on this one!!
