MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
As much as he hates to do it, Texas Ranger Brett Tucker has no choice but to break up the wedding. Not only is it time for Frank Foster to get what’s coming to him, but the lady he is marrying is in terrible danger. So here goes. And what a commotion it is making. Frank Foster isn’t going down without a fight. And poor Kate Denver, she will be so embarrassed the rest of her life, and the laughing stock of their little town. Especially when the unthinkable happens. Join Texas Ranger Brett on this long journey of finding out the real truth.
From the time Texas Ranger Brett Tucker crashed the wedding in the first chapter, till the end of the book, this story will have you laughing. As with all of Margaret Brownley’s books, it’s hilarious. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with the old Western town and its characters. There are so many scenes that had me laughing so much, like the ones where Brett was trying to redeem himself by teaching Frank how to be romantic, when Frank didnt have a romantic bone in his body! And some of the scenes with Frank and Kate, because Frank was allergic to animals. I had to re-read some of these scenes! Then there were somewhat serious times when Brett was spending too much time with Kate. And there is also a little mystery that came to town to pike your interest. This is a clean historical romance from Margaret Brownley, not Christian fiction like most of her books. Ms. Brownley writes both in her same unique way with lots of action and loads if humor and laughter.
Over all, this is a fun and exciting read. If you are looking for some clean, fun and funny entertainment, you should check this book out.
