MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK 

I just love this book. Each story is so sweet and special and there is no way I would pick a favorite? I mean, Karen Witemeyer, Connealy, Regina Jennings and Carol Cox are for of my top rated authors so I knew every story had to be top rated! And I love having a book with four novella’s because sometimes you just don’t have time for a full book.

Each of these stories turn out to be a beautiful love story. Though the couples don’t know it for a while. I enjoyed the matchmaking and the journey of each of these four couples. The all make for a Heartwarming read. If you don’t have time to read a big book at this time, check this one out. Or if you are like me and just need a shorter story for a while, this us an amazing one to check out!

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

 I thought this book was a fantastic read, and I really enjoyed every minute of it! After Miranda sold a prized portrait, and her grandfather bought an auction house that they were sure the portrait went to, the story took a new twist! I’m not sure how I would have felt had I ended up at a livestock auction house, and it was just as interesting reading about Miranda’s experience. There is a lot in this story to absorb, and I kept wondering if a mistake was made about buying this auction house in the first place, but I just had to be patient. I will have to say, from the cover of this book, I did not expect the story that is between the pages!

When I see a book by Regina Jennings, I know its going to be an awesome read, and this was no exception. I became very attached to the characters, the grandfather was adorable and Miranda was a special young lady! And oh, the romance was sweet and heartfelt. This is a must read for those of you who enjoy historical fiction, or just looking for a good clean read! At Love’s Bidding will not disappoint!

My Thoughts on this book

Molly Lovelace wanted to marry Bailey, but he was not the man for her, according to her parents. Molly’s parents wanted her to marry a banker, or someone wealthy to support the family finances, didn’t matter if she was in love or not. And Molly has a problem making the right decisions, it just seems like everything she does turns into the wrong thing, including marriage to a stranger.

Love in the Balance is an interesting, fun and enlightening read with a lot of bad decisions and heartaches for Molly. But when she has to deal with her bad decisions, she realizes what is really important in life, and the importance of trusting God instead of taking matters into your own hands. Molly’s life was so mixed up she thought she had ruined it for both Bailey and herself, but she finds the truth as she begins to forgive, and as others forgive her.

This is a wonderful historical story that I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a good historical Christian fiction. You will not be disappointed in this one!

A Word from Regina:

See me laughing. That’s what I do when someone calls me an author. Yes, it’s always been my dream, but I still can’t keep from giggling over it.

Other things I am – a Christ-follower, a wife, a homeschooling mother of four, a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, and a voracious reader.

Getting reading time isn’t easy. Seems like my family does more than our share of traveling. My husband is an insurance adjuster (I know, save the hate mail) and travels with the catastrophe team often. That’s allowed us to see a lot of the United States. True many times it’s in the middle of a hurricane or blizzard, but after spending three weeks in a hotel room with six people, you’ll brave anything to get out and see the sights – no matter how damaged they might be.

We also serve on the Missions Team at an amazing church, so we break out the passports frequently. Highlights include singing at a leper colony in India, holding church inside a Mexican prison and showing the Jesus film to a tribe in Senegal who’d never heard the gospel.

But I don’t have to go far away for unusual. My family provides plenty of colorful material with their love for practical jokes, pithy observations and strong agricultural roots. Because of the family business, a significant chunk of my life has been spent at sale barns and auctions – often behind the scales where I weigh pigs. I like to think of myself as a “redneck bluestocking” but I brought an entire marketing team’s discussion to a screeching halt when I said those words, so you didn’t hear it from me.

When I have spare time I love to talk books and quirky characters (real and fictional).

ABOUT THE BOOK
