Koby and Lizzy were high-school sweethearts but that was a long time ago. But in trying to contact her family after she was attacked on the street of Pittsburgh, she was caught between who to call, and Koby had no problem dropping all of his plans for the night and taking off to help his old high-school flame.

This is the third book in this series but I had no problems reading it as a stand alone. I do want to go back and catch up on the series. Don’t let the sugary sweets on the cover fool you, this is a suspenseful mystery that will have you on the edge of your seat. With a healthy dose of romance, and you have the makes of an amazing read on a cold night with a good cup of coffee! Of course this one is so exciting you can read it anywhere anytime! I enjoyed these realistic character and how they come to life as the plot unfolds. I enjoyed even more spending time with Koby and Lizzy and watching their attraction rekindle from their high-school years. I like and appreciate the faith in the life of the characters. And the forgiveness showed in this story. If you enjoy a fun and exciting mystery romance, this is a great one for you. This one is a Five Stars for me!
