MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

I just love this book. Each story is so sweet and special and there is no way I would pick a favorite? I mean, Karen Witemeyer, Connealy, Regina Jennings and Carol Cox are for of my top rated authors so I knew every story had to be top rated! And I love having a book with four novella’s because sometimes you just don’t have time for a full book.

Each of these stories turn out to be a beautiful love story. Though the couples don’t know it for a while. I enjoyed the matchmaking and the journey of each of these four couples. The all make for a Heartwarming read. If you don’t have time to read a big book at this time, check this one out. Or if you are like me and just need a shorter story for a while, this us an amazing one to check out!

About

Fired from her most recent governess position, Melanie Ross must embrace her last resort: the Arizona mercantile she inherited from her cousin. But Caleb Nelson is positive he inherited the mercantile, and he’s not about to let an obstinate woman with newfangled ideas ruin all he’s worked for. In hope of turning her interest elsewhere, he determines to get Melanie married off, and luckily, there are many single men in town quite willing to take her off his hands.

The problem is, Caleb soon realizes he doesn’t want her to marry any of them. He’s drawn to her more every day, and he has to admit some of her ideas for the store offer unexpectedly positive results.

But someone doesn’t want the mercantile to succeed, and threatening words have escalated into destruction and danger. Will Melanie and Caleb’s business–and budding romance–survive the trouble that’s about to come their way?

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Love in Disguise  by Carol Cox

Have you ever been in love with someone, then later find out that person didn’t exist? Well that just what happens to Steven Pierce. After Lavinia Stewart helps Steven out with some financial issues, Steven was not only overjoyed with her help, he fell for Lavinia’s niece, Jessie. Or that’s who Steven thought she was. And he was soon to find out about the mysterious Jessie, and just who Ellie is, as well as all of the little tricks she has up her sleeve.

Ellis finds out the being a detective isn’t all it’s cracked up to be! Especially when she is trying to be two so different people! Yet this is what makes Carol Cox’s “Love in Disguise” so fun, interesting and intriguing to read. With a cast of unique and perfect characters and a plot that keeps your nose in the book, because of the many twists and turns, you gotta love Ellie, Steven, Lavinia and Jessie’s story. And I don’t read a lot of western’s, but this western setting was fun and with Ellie doing her little job of deceiving everyone she could, I found it all woven together to make a really nice read.

And I have to say I love the cover! That ‘look’ from Ellie just tells you that she’s up to something and the reader can’t wait to find out what it is. All in all, Carol Cox weaves together a really nice story that will have her readers coming back for more of her books. I thoroughly enjoyed this one, and can’t wait to read another one from Carol.
