MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
This is my first book of Pamela Kelly’s I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the Whitley Hotel and the Whitley family. This grandfather does an amazing job of keeping all of the family working in jobs they are capable of doing. This is why he gives his grandaughter Paula a promotion, because he knows she can do the job. And the cousin there is not doing such a good job.
I found it fun watching the family and they had their ups and downs, their friends that sometimes turned into more than friends. Ms. Kelley create a host of characters to pull this book off and she does a marvelous job of it. I like the grandfather best of course, but the Paula and David were my favorites. I love the attraction there, but neither would confirm it because they were so busy doing their jobs and both thought the other could be interested in then. Could they?
There were a lot if twists and turns. The arrival of a super well known actor brought its own flavor to the mix as well as a little romance to the plate. All in all, this is a very nice clean summer and beach read. If this is the genre you love, then it is a must for you to read. And if you are looking for an enjoyable summer read, I encourage you to pick this one up.
A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
