A visit for the holidays

Brings love for a lifetime

Cattle rancher Evan Bishop is desperate for Paige Palmer’s help. The veterinarian is in Three Springs for the holidays, but the single dad hopes she has time to save his ailing livestock. Paige is up for the challenge, though not quite up to resisting the cowboy’s rugged charm and his darling devotion to his little girl. Can Paige learn to trust the rancher before the countdown to Christmas ends?

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

I love all Cari Lynn Webb books and this one is so amazing. I love the characters, especially Evan and Paige. They are both so sure about not wanting a relationship, it interesting to watch them together. And Riley is by far my favorite character. She is such a sweetheart. The ranch setting is wonderful and makes me want to live on a ranch, with the warm cozy feeling of the ranch house and all of the animals. I found the veterinarian information interesting to know, and Paige was good and so passionate with her job as a vet.

Since this setting takes place during the Christmas holiday, there’s a lot of excitement about Christmas decorating and activities. I love all of the decorations. I have always decorated a lot for Christmas and this fit right in with my love of Christmas and it’s festive mood. I love the enthusiasm of Riley. She wanted Christmas lights everywhere and couldn’t understand anyone who didn’t want lights and decorations.  She truly made sure everyone has the Christmas spirit. Riley was such a special part of this story. You will love her as much as I do.

I’m giving Trusting the Rancher with Christmas by Cari Lynn Webb Five Stars. I can’t wait to read the next book in this sweet series. If you enjoy sweet heartwarming romance that are clean, fun and entertaining to read, I highly recommend this one. If you haven’t read a Cari Lynn Webb book you are missing out! Check this one out today!

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Abby James is headed to small town Three Springs, Texas after she finds herself pregnant with a cheating boyfriend. Texas is where her cousin openes the store their grandparents owned, and seems the right place to be. But driving in a big rut on an off road and a flat tire wasn’t what she wanted. Neither was the handsome NAVY SEAL who came to her rescue on horseback. But Abby is happy to see her cousin and loves helping to get the old store up and running. If the NAVY SEAL didn’t show up everywhere she is.
I love Cari Lynn Webb’s books. I always know I am in for an amazing sweet clean read, and this one is no different. I love these characters and this small town, even if gossip does run rapid. I love the way people help each other whenever they need help. Webb does an excellent job of introducing new characters for this book and the beginning of a new season. I love her writing style and how she always keeps us readers turning the pages with her fabulous writing skills. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. If you love romance reads that are clean and enjoyable, this is a perfect book for you. I love that I can give this book Five Stars.

Excerpt from this book

Drew leaned back against the couch and stared at their Santa photo. “This is still one of my favorite Thanksgivings ever.”

“Seriously?” Molly sipped her wine.

“It’s one of the few I didn’t spend with my nose in a law book the entire time,” Drew admitted.

Molly swirled her wine in her glass. “We were good that way, weren’t we?”

“What way?”

“We balanced the school and work with the fun,” she said. “Remember flag football.”

“And trivia nights.” He nudged her shoulder with his. “You always hated when you lost.”

“I still hate to lose.” She laughed and finished her wine. “I don’t miss those late-night burrito runs when we left the library after a study session.”

“Best burritos in town.” Drew touched his stomach. “You always ate half of mine even after you complained you weren’t hungry and didn’t even want a burrito.”

“It always looked better when you were eating it. I don’t know why.”

“Everything is better together.” Drew wanted to swallow those words but it was too late. They were already out. In the sudden quiet, he realized a truth. Things had been better with Molly in his life. What happened to us?

Drew cleared his throat. They’d been friends and grown apart. He wouldn’t mistake the gratitude and respect he felt for Molly now to be anything more than that. But his gaze returned to the picture and thoughts of Molly as something more rumbled inside his chest.

“I bet you never knew you were my only real friend.” Molly scooted into Drew’s side, set her head on his shoulder and traced her finger over the picture. “I’ve really missed you.”

He had to admit it. “I’ve missed you too.”

Grand Finale for Montana Wedding by Cari Lynn Webb

Launch – Author Interview

I’m thrilled to be celebrating the release of my new book, Montana Wedding, book 5 in the continuity series, The Blackwell Sisters with Harlequin Heartwarming. Montana Wedding is a sweet contemporary romance that brings together doctor, Georgiana (Georgie) Harrison and rodeo star Zach Evans for an unforgettable Christmas. . .

Christy’s Cozy Corners – Review

“Cari Lynn Webb has written another exceptional, page-turning book for clean romance lovers everywhere. . . . I love how Webb gives her characters such unique personalities and “issues” to deal with. Though I’ve never been in Georgie’s shoes or Zach’s saddle, I could feel their hurts coming through the pages of the book. And, yes, I cried. If you get immersed in books like I do, you’ll probably cry too! Those side characters that you might be unfamiliar with will get into your hearts. They’ll make you laugh and cry. Past hurts begin to mend, and that’ll make you cry too! In other words, be sure you’ve got the tissues handy.

I highly recommend this sweet, emotional book.”

Hearts & Scribbles – Excerpt

But a rodeo cowboy could distract her family from her next career move. Stop right there, Georgiana Marie. Her mother’s inflexible tone had always halted Georgie’s unapproved science projects, rendering her theories unproved. “Are you any good?”

“Top ten calf roping and bronc riding in the country.” He shrugged as if being modest about the accomplishment.

Remembrancy – Review

“These two are complete opposites in so many ways, but they make a fantastic team when they put their heads together. And the attraction sizzles from early on even though they’re both intent on fighting it (we all know how well that will turn out).

I also loved all of the holiday cheer from the different trees to the ugly sweaters to the scavenger hunt (although, I would have liked to know which couple won that). Montana Wedding was a great way to end the series, but I sure hope we haven’t seen the last of the Blackwell clan.”

Books & Benches – Excerpt

MY BOYFRIEND. GEORGIE just jumped in with both feet. Never mind that the last time she’d jumped in with both feet had been at summer camp in seventh grade. And she had ended up with a concussion and a broken arm. She strained to find her most convincing smile.

Beside her, Zach wheezed as if he choked on air. “Pleasure to meet you all.”

She was going to owe him. Big-time.

Library Lady’s Kid Lit – Review

“When one of her sisters is getting married she convinces a male co-worker to attend with her and help her convince her family moving to work at a lab in London is the best thing for her. But, he doesn’t show up at the airport and Georgie has to come up with another plan. Cari Lynn Webb has crafted an enjoyable story.”

Hallie Reads – Review

“I am here for all the fake-dating romances. This trope is a favorite and rarely lets me down, so of course, Cari Lynn Webb’s Montana Wedding is delightful. . . . The way they challenge each other and grow proves that their fake relationship could be exactly what they need. Add in plenty of holiday cheer, and their romance is charming, fun, and irresistible.”

Cover Lover Book Review – Excerpt

“I worked hard,” Georgie said.

“That’s all you do.” Fee tipped her head and considered Georgie. Worry was etched in her face and clear in her words. “You work hard and harder still. Always focused on work and that next level.”

Georgie had goals to reach. That required focus and dedication. But had she missed out on the fun and games over the years? She shook her head. She wasn’t the carefree type. Never had been. Her sisters knew that. Yet she set her hand flat on the table as if she’d been knocked off balance.

Splashes of Joy – Review

“I love the main characters and she does an amazing joy of bringing back all of the family. Georgie and Zach are so different yet so well for each other. The chemistry between the two is just right! I totally enjoyed this fun and enjoyable entertainment!”

Rockin’ Book Reviews – Review

“This is another great story set in Montana at the awesome Blackwell Ranch. I love the Blackwell family. . . . The characters are all well-developed and it is easy to feel their emotions. . . . I highly recommend this story to all readers. It has great life lessons and has a great romance also.”

E-Romance News – Excerpt

“Then we’ll find something that does help.”

“We?” She lifted her gaze to his face.

“Yes, we. You and me.” Zach picked up the pot of honey from Hilda Pittman and swirled the wooden stick in the tea. “Honey is good for allergies, sore throats and stomach issues.”

“Is that right?” A smile broke through her hesitant tone.

Pause for Tales – Review

Montana Wedding was a story that I thought would be a cute one about a fake date/boyfriend where the lead couples fall in love. It was that and more. Actually it was a deeper romance and a story that showed the importance of family.”

Locks, Hooks and Books – Review

Montana Wedding is getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for readers who love clean romance. I was excited to find out that it is part of a series, The Blackwell Sisters, and I will be looking forward to reading those to find out what happened previously to this one.”

Reading Is My SuperPower – Review

“The whole family (Harrisons & Blackwells & significant others) come together for this final book in the series, and boy howdy there’s a lot of ’em. The result is a big, crazy, wonderful mix of people and personalities and laughter and love. Throw in Christmas and you have the perfect ratio of family shenanigans to yummy goodies to romantic moments. . . . Montana Wedding is the ideal send-off for this Blackwell series – and maybe we could hope for some other unknown Blackwell offspring from these authors in the future?”

Heidi Reads… – Excerpt

“Georgie, you want to come with us?” Grace asked.

Georgie shook her head. “I think I’ll stay and explore, if you don’t mind.”

Zach minded. Very much. He’d be alone with Georgie. Again. And every time he was alone with her, he spilled more truths. Revealed parts of his life he’d never wanted to share. Every time he was alone with Georgie, the lines blurred, and he forgot he was only supposed to be pretending to like her.

Getting Your Read On – Review

“There were so many things happening in this story! The winter/Christmas setting lends itself to lots of fun family Christmas traditions and troublesome weather. There is the return of an estranged father, the birth of babies and the reconnecting of sisters. It was easy to get wrapped up in the holiday feel with the idyllic setting and warm family bonds. This is a great book to read during this month of December.”

Beauty in the Binding – Excerpt

“I thought you could use these as gifts for your sisters.” Zach cleared his throat. “Or not. They’re old glass jars. Probably chipped and cracked. Need to be cleaned.”

She reached up, placed her hand on his cheek.

Her warm, soft touch stalled his rambling and his heart.

Reading Excursions – Review

“Realistic, dramatic, funny at times, and realistically told, this was one of the fastest read Heartwarming novels I ever read. . . . Fans of the author and genre, plus those who’ve read the previous three novels might enjoy this last book of the series.”

Bookish Jottings – Review

“If you are looking for a fun, poignant and spellbinding contemporary romantic read, look no further than Cari Lynn Webb’s latest novel, Montana Wedding. . . . A delightful contemporary romance that will have you laughing out loud and wiping away a tear or two, Cari Lynn Webb’s Montana Wedding is a fantastic tale about finding happiness when you least expect it, family ties and following your heart that I struggled to put down. . . . Warm, witty and wonderful, Cari Lynn Webb’s Montana Wedding is not to be missed.”

Montana Wedding is the last sweet romance in The Blackwell Sisters series. I haven’t read them all, but I’m going to purchase the ones I have missed and read them in order. This series is just too good not to read them all! And with this book bring the entire clan together for the Christmas wedding, I want to better get to know the characters so I can understand this book better. We get to focus on Georgie in this book. She has everything planned out for her trip home for her sister’s wedding, that is until her fake boyfriend for the week didn’t show up to go with her, so why not ask the guy sitting next to her on the plane? And this makes for a fun and oh so interesting read!!

I have read many books by Cari Lynn Webb and I am glad she is the one writing this last book in the series. I love the main characters and she does an amazing joy of bringing back all of the family. Georgie and Zach are so different yet so well for each other. The chemistry between the two is just right! I totally enjoyed this fun and enjoyable entertainment!

Her Surprise Engagement by Cari Lynn Webb Grand Finale

We hope you enjoyed the tour! If you missed any of the stops

Launch – Note from the Author

Welcome to my blog tour with Prism!

I’m thrilled to be celebrating the release of my new book, Her Surprise Engagement, in my series City by the Bay Stories with Harlequin Heartwarming. Her Surprise Engagement is a sweet contemporary romance that brings together single mom, Nichole Moore and football star, Chase Jacobs. . .

Hallie Reads – Review

Her Surprise Engagement is just such a delight to read. A sports romance with a fake relationship and friends-to-more… It all works so well together, especially with Nichole and Chase as the lovable couple at the center of it. Their personalities may be opposite in several ways, but their chemistry is undeniable. I easily enjoyed this romance.”

Remembrancy – Review

“I was drawn into this story from the get-go because it was both fun and heartwarming. . . . Add in both Nicole’s and Chase’s families and Cari Lynn Webb has delivered a sweet, sometimes humorous, and all-around enjoyable story.”

Hearts & Scribbles – Excerpt

He held out his hand. “Do we have a deal then?”

She set her hand in his. “We’re in a business arrangement.”

“We’ve been friends too long to ink our fake marriage with a handshake.” And because he’d always been a risk-taker, he stood and pulled her toward him. “Let’s seal the deal correctly?”

“Webb places you into her storyline rather immediately – you instantly know what is mot important to the lives of her characters simply by observing where we’re meeting them in the text. Nichole and Chase have rather immediate needs at the start of this novel which allows the story to unfold at a quicker pace than others. I enjoyed seeing how Webb was going to heal the distance between them but also, tuck closer to whom they’ve become whilst they’ve been apart. . . this is a story that is anchoured by a resolve of unquestioning trust between two best friends who understand each other better than they understand themselves.”

Pause for Tales – Review

“What a super cute and romantic read this one was. Marriage of convenience stories are my favorite trope, and this one was pretty close. . . . I really enjoyed this sweet little story that left me smiling all the way to the end.”

Wishful Endings – Excerpt

“I like Nichole.” Nonna adjusted the colander in the sink and nodded at Chase to empty the pot. “I like her a lot.”

“I like Nichole too.” And he did. More than he wanted to admit.

“You can’t treat her like the others, Chase.” Nonna picked up the potato ricer and handed it to Chase. “Her heart is good. She’s not used to your lifestyle.”

“What others?” Chase grabbed another mixing bowl and the potato ricer. He’d dated other women. Nothing serious. Nothing lasting. He wouldn’t have asked any of his past girlfriends to act as his pretend wife. One would’ve misinterpreted the pretend part. Two would’ve reminded him that marriage wasn’t part of their five-or ten-year career plans.

“Oh my goodness. I immediately sighed internally after reading the last few pages of this book and I think my eyes literally turned into hearts. These two are beyond words! This book was such a sweet, adorable mix of fake relationship and friends to lovers, which are two of my favorite romance tropes. It was a match made in heaven. The chemistry between Chase and Nichole was off the charts and crazy cute!”

“This friends-to-more / fake marriage story has some super swoony kisses, sweet moments & great characters. The author draws you into the story right away & keeps your attention until the end – and you’ll be rooting for Chase & Nicole’s fake relationship to become real. A cute weekend read you’ll enjoy!”

“Nichole has a son that makes the book enjoyable. I love how they do things together with her son. . . . Her Surprise Engagement has a lot of family and friends. I loved all the different relationships.”

Splashes of Joy – Review

“Chase and Nicole are wonderful characters. I love the way their lives intertwine and I really loved following their journey of their fake marriage. . . . There is a lot going on in this story, twists and turns weaved throughout that make the story well worth your read.

I have read a number of Cari Lynn Webb’s books and have enjoyed them all, and this one is no different. I love reading the sweet Heartwarming romances from Harlequin . . .”

He stepped closer to her. “Let’s make a deal.”

Deal? Nichole moved toward him and tipped her head to lock her gaze on his. The last deal she’d made with Chase had her married to him. How much worse could it get? “What do you have in mind?”

“You make your food.” He grimaced and recovered. His gaze warmed and searched her face. “I’ll make my version and we see which one everyone prefers.”

“What are you making exactly?” Nichole eyed him. He reached forward, brushed her hair off her shoulder. His touch light and swift. But the effect left her restless and wishful. She cleared her throat. “It has to be healthy, no ice cream or brownies to sway the vote.” No more tugs on her heart to sway her resolve.

“This story had a lot of fun tropes within it: friends to more, second chance romance, fake marriage, and one of the characters was a famous sports figure. . . . It was enjoyable to watch as their fake relationship turned to more.”

Peaceful Pastime – Review

Her Surprise Engagement is a fun and super cute read that kept me entertained throughout the entire novel. . . . I got to know the characters and felt like I was part of everything that was going on in their lives.  This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. If any reader is looking for a truly heartwarming novel than I recommend this one.”

Harlie’s Books – Excerpt & Review

Nichole gathered the extra clothing they hadn’t used for their snowmen.

Chase picked up a scarf, shook off the snow and set it gently on the pile she held. He asked, “Want some help with lunch?”

She wanted help remembering their kiss had been a mistake. She wanted help putting a wedge between him and her son. She wanted help reminding herself this was all pretend. “We’ve got it. Don’t you want to go explore with the boys?”

He tugged her hat over her forehead. “We never talked about that kiss. Or our options.”

“I’ve read every book in the series and this is my favorite.  I don’t try to play favorites but I just loved Chase and Nichole.  For me, the book had a great storyline, perfect pacing, the situations that they went through, and let’s not forget that this one is hilarious.  Ms. Webb has really written a well-thought-out, pitch-perfect story about two people that were childhood friends that reconnect in the most hilarious situation.”

“Oh how I love friends-to-more sweet romances. And this one fits the bill perfectly. I was drawn in from the first lines, because it let me know, right off, what kind of story I was getting into. Good, clean romance. . . . this story is enjoyable, flows well,  and has excellent character development. . . . This is a charming friends-to-more romance that gives you sighs and smiles throughout.”

“The novel is a perfect read for readers who like a cozy romantic read. I thought the characters were well developed and likable. I felt that Nichole shouldn’t have lied to her son about her relationship with Chase. Thankfully, since this a heartwarming romance novels, things have a way of working out for the best.”

“I want to protect him.” From Chase. From getting hurt. From suffering. And she wanted to protect herself. But she worried she might already be too late.

Her grandmother shuffled back to the stove. “Sometimes the best we can do is love them with all we’ve got.”

“And when they get hurt?” Nichole picked up the salad bowl.

“We love them that much harder.”

Nichole clutched the stainless steel bowl against her stomach. “Is that enough?”

“Love is always enough.” Her grandmother smiled and tipped her head toward the wide windows.

Reading Excursions – Review

“I loved the message of seeing beyond appearances, as well as loving harder, and love is always enough in this sweet, feel-good read. Webb clearly knows how to write a story that touches on what we all want from life – whether it be a career or family, even a second chance.”

Teatime and Books – Excerpt

He sat on the couch beside his grandmother and checked his phone again.

“Something more important on your phone than your family?” Nonna dabbed a napkin against her cheek.

“I’m waiting to hear from Nichole.” Chase flipped his phone over in his hands. Had Nichole changed her mind about car pool pickup? About their deal? “This wasn’t the way it was supposed to go.”

Nonna placed her hand on his arm, drawing his gaze to her wisdom-aged whiskey-brown eyes. “We can plan all we want, but love has its own mind and its own agenda.”

“Her Surprise Engagement was another great read by Cari Lynn Webb. I have read and enjoyed her books in the past and this one is probably among one of my favorites by her. I loved the chemistry between Nichole and Chase. . . . I am giving Her Surprise Engagement a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend this for readers who enjoy sports romance.”

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Nicole and Chase have an interesting and fun past. One where they got to know and trust each other pretty good. So Nichole had no problem asking Chase for the help she needed. And Chase was caught off guard at what his friend ask of him.

Chase and Nicole are wonderful characters. I love the way their lives intertwine and I really loved following their journey of their fake marriage. Did this really help each of them at where their careers are at now? And they are both wonderful together but they are also both strong individual people, which brought several smiles as I read their daily lives. And Sweet Wesley, can I say he is just adorable and his personality adds much to the story. Each character develops well throughout the story, and this is enough info on them. There is a lot going on in this story, twists and turns weaved throughout that make the story well worth your read.

I have read a number of Cari Lynn Webb’s books and have enjoyed them all, and this one is no different. I love reading the sweet Heartwarming romances from Harlequin, because this is their clean reads line of books, for the most part.

A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.

In Love by Christmas by Cari Lynn Webb

On Tour with Prism Book Tours

In Love by Christmas (City by the Bay Stories #5) By Cari Lynn Webb Contemporary Romance Paperback & ebook, 384 Pages December 1st 2019 by Harlequin Heartwarming

This Christmas, two worlds collide

…under the mistletoe!

All Theo Taylor wants for Christmas is a profitable year-end and a flawless wedding for his sister. Hiring beautiful but unknown designer Josie Beck is a huge risk, especially when the Taylors’ reputation is at stake. Josie is sweet, kind and impossible to resist. But is Josie about to destroy Theo’s perfect wedding plan…or is she the answer to his heart’s secret Christmas wish?

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

I really enjoyed reading In Love by Christmas. It covers the Christmas holidays pretty well, with Thor being the CEO of his large family business, with no time to really spend with family because he is always working. To the vintage wedding dress found my his sister one she wants to wear in her own Christmas wedding. But there is a lot if family drama to weed through if Adriana wears this family heirloom. And can the family agree on anything? It seems as though they can not.

I like the fact that author Cari Lynn Webb writes clean Heartwarming stories, and especially this one we can read during the Holiday Season. I love these characters, they seem so real, and the story is so realistic, it’s like watching day to day lives of real people. I love the contrast of Thor and his busy company, and Josie and her small designer business. And I love Josie, she has a heart of gold, and money doesn’t drive her. She and Adriana would make a good team. And I dont want to spoil the story for you, there is much going on in this story, with Thors company, and Josie’s work, and you really need to read the story yourself to enjoy it’s fun and enjoyable entertainment. This is a really great story to read during the Christmas Season!

Launch – Note from the Author

Welcome to my blog tour with Prism!

I’m thrilled to be celebrating the release of my new book, Single Dad to the Rescue, in my City by the Bay Stories with Harlequin Heartwarming. Single Dad to the Rescue is a sweet contemporary romance that brings together animal rescuer, Brooke Ellis, and paramedic, Dan Sawyer. . .

Reading Is My SuperPower – Review

“A Single Dad to the Rescue is – true to its imprint – heartwarming and sweet. It’s the kind of story that leaves you sighing contentedly after you turn the last page, the kind that shows you that good-hearted people who put others first do still exist, the kind that reminds you that second chances sometimes show up when – and with whom – we least expect. The characters are equal parts layered, real, and compelling, and you’ll enjoy revisiting friends from previous books in the series if you’ve read those. If not, it works just as well as a standalone. A great read for animal lovers, rescuers-at-heart, and fans of sweet romance.”

Remembrancy – Review

“Webb gives readers a story of healing, of finding the courage to live life to the fullest after living through the worst kind of pain, and of the blessings (and yes, sometimes challenges) of living in a community that cares.”

It’s All About the Romance – Excerpt

“I saw the lights on.” He lifted several cloth shopping bags and his smile, then added, “Grocery delivery.”

Brooke wanted to close the door. His appealing half grin could disarm her if she was someone else. Someone who believed in fairy tales, storybook romance and that once-in-a-lifetime love could happen again. But she couldn’t shut the door. This was Dan, Rick’s son. And her stomach growled. “How much do I owe you?”

“I’m not interested in money.” He handed the bags to her.

EmpowerMoms – Review

“I enjoyed this sweet romance story! I liked the main characters Brooke Ellis, Dan Sawyer, his son and the grandfather. . . . Easy to read, great characters-loved it!”

Hallie Reads – Review

Though not without its complications, Single Dad to the Rescue is a sweet addition to Webb’s series. Any reader in need of a heartwarming contemporary romance could be delighted with this book—I know I was.”

Thoughts of a Blonde – Review

“An emotional journey of life, love and growth! Cari Lynn Webb pulls at our heartstrings time and again with the latest in her City by the Bay Stories series. . . . The story is sweet with a punch of sadness and held my attention throughout. Really enjoyed the richness of the characters and the connection they shared. Highly recommend!”

Splashes of Joy – Review

“Author Cari Lynn Webb does a really good job of weaving all of the past hurts and heartaches in both Brooke and Dan’s lives taking them on a journey that will finally give them the love and life they deserve. I enjoyed the animals, and it made me realize juzy how much fires and other disasters traumatizes the lives of our fur babies. The author does a good job with discussing the pets and their feelings. As well as Dan’s son Ben and his medical issues. The entire book was very well written, and I will look for more books from this author.”

Kathryn Cooper Writes – Review

Single Dad to the Rescue is a sweet clean romance read! . . . I felt heartwarming feelings build up throughout this read. Single Dad to the Rescue by Cari Lynn Webb is a romance with life building experiences which we can all relate to in different ways.”

Nicole’s Book Musings – Review

“The thing that I loved about this book the most is the feeling of hope through out the book. . . . I love the sense of community and coming together. Dan’s precious son is too adorable and I just loved the scenes with him and his friends. This book packed the feels and it’s one you can easily get lost in. I’m looking forward to more from this series.”

Jorie Loves A Story – Review

“The attention to detail and the care in which Webb describes the artfulness of healing through compassionate volunteering with rescue animals is part of what endeared me to this story. . . . This is a multi-layered story about the intersection of lives and the curious ways in which the heart leads us forward into a tomorrow that has more hope of promise than the past we’re trying to outrun. I loved the way Ms Webb composed this story, how she tucks us so dearly close to her characters and their internal battles; whilst providing us with a firm understanding about life, love, loss and the second chances we must choose to embrace if we hope to aspire towards a future filled with the hopefulness of a renewed sense of purpose.”

Hearts & Scribbles – Excerpt

Evie’s love for the children was more than obvious. Dan’s love for his son would be just as strong. Just as protective. Ben was no doubt the reason for Dan’s white lie. Was Dan’s love only reserved for his son? Love. Where had that come from? She’d fallen in love before. The head-over-heels kind. The once-in-a-lifetime kind. She’d be too greedy to consider a second chance. Brooke reached for that invisible pause button to stop her tumbling thoughts.

A strong hand landed on Brooke’s lower back and settled as if to catch her when she fell. Brooke glanced over her shoulder. Dan stood just behind her, his smile gentle.

My Devotional Thoughts – Review

“First of all, this is squeaky clean romance with nothing offensive in it. [Moreover], this is a book that can be enjoyed in an evening, by the beach, on vacation…in short, it is a nice, quick read that will provide just the kind of clean romance fans of this genre crave.”

janicesbookreviews – Review

“The book is a beautiful story. I especially loved all the dogs and cats in the book — also the little boy. . . . This book was my first one by the author. I enjoyed her writing very much. I definitely will read more of her books. I loved all the characters in the book so much.”

Cover To Cover Cafe – Review

“I absolutely love Cari Lynn Webb’s writing style. She is highly talented and definitely an author that is quickly becoming one of my favorites. . . . If you love clean romances, sweet boys and lovable furbabies, then this is a story for you. Webb will quickly work her way into your soul with her work and leave you a fan for life. Great job and hats off to you, Webb! Can’t wait for more.”

Two Points of Interest – Review

“The novel was a cozy romantic read with likable characters and not so likable characters. I found Ben to be cute and loveable along with all of Dan’s friends. The author weaves the perfect amount of drama to keep readers drawn to the story and not become overwhelmed. Overall, it was the perfect romantic beach read.”

Harlie’s Book – Excerpt & Review

Ben’s absolute certainty softened Dan. That was all he’d ever wanted to give Ben: a safe home. One without chaos. One with stability and love.

Brooke shifted to look at Dan.

Again, her dark brown gaze pulled him in. Her wide soulful eyes called to him. Made him want to learn everything about her. Made him want…

“Yall, I have to admit that this is the best book in the series. Yes, I’ve read the others but this one has all the feels. . . . I just really connected with everyone in the book. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Webb does next.”

Peaceful Pastime – Review

“I have read a lot of books in the Harlequin Heartwarming line and while they have all been good, I have to say that this book is one of my favorites. . . . Overall, this truly was a heartwarming read with a wonderful storyline that flowed at a perfect pace. The characters are compelling and for those reasons, I highly recommend, Single Dad to the Rescue.”

Pause for Tales – Review

“Ben was cute and a smart kid. The animals added a nice extension for the humans to show their love. I could see just how big Brooke’s heart was. I enjoyed this second chance at love despite life’s circumstances story.”

Teatime and Books – Review

“I really loved this book, it’s a really sweet romance and I absolutely loved Brooke’s character, what a dynamite lady and the perfect one for Dan! I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a nice, clean, sweet romance! . . . I will definitely be reading more from this author!”

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Brooke Ellis has only her 3 furry friends, that’s it. That’s her family, and when a forest fire took her home and most of her belongings. Brooke was blessed that she came in contact with a retired fire fighter, who offered the small apartment at his sons house for Brooke and her animals.

This is a sweet Romance, but the beginning and how Brooke and Dan met was a not so pleasant time. Author Cari Lynn Webb does a really good job of weaving all of the past hurts and heartaches in both Brooke and Dan’s lives taking them on a journey that will finally give them the love and life they deserve. I enjoyed the animals, and it made me realize juzy how much fires and other disasters traumatizes the lives of our fur babies. The author does a good job with discussing the pets and their feelings.
