ABOUT ANGEL FALLS

Angel Falls

Her best friend’s been murdered and Brazilian orphanage director Regina da Silva will do whatever it takes to protect her friend’s baby. Even if it means dealing with an intimidating man she’s not sure she can trust.

Former Army Ranger Brooks Anderson refuses to protect anyone ever again. The last time he did, the woman and child both died. He’s just here to transport an orphan for adoption, as promised, and then he’s outta there.

But when bullets fly, Brooks and Regina risk everything and dive headlong into danger to protect one defenseless child.

As the killer closes in and long-buried secrets come to light, they’ll have to trust each other to stay alive.

Will that be enough to save their little angel–and themselves—from plunging to their deaths over the Falls?

MY THOUGHTS

Connie Mann is a new author for me, and I am very happy I was able to read and review Angel Falls. In order to protect an infant orphan, Regina and Brooks were forced to work together to keep this madman trying to kill the baby at bay. This journey takes readers on a whirlwind that captured my attention and kept it until the very last page. I really enjoy Regina and Brooks, and especially the tension between the two. And it was neat to watch this adorable baby break through the thick walls built up around Brooks and watch the tender reactions between the two. This is truly a tense thriller and mysterious story full of love and forgiveness. It moves pretty fast through the streets of Brazil and throughout, and the vivid descriptions of the are are awesome. But the most gripping and heartwarming part of this story is the orphans on the streets of Brazil. The love of the author for the children in real life in Brazil is heartwarming and encourging as well.

This is a wonderful story that will warm your heart as you read its pages. From the suspense, mystery, thrills, romance, faith and forgiveness, you will certainly enjoy. And this is a book I highly recommend.
