MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
Brooke Ellis has only her 3 furry friends, that’s it. That’s her family, and when a forest fire took her home and most of her belongings. Brooke was blessed that she came in contact with a retired fire fighter, who offered the small apartment at his sons house for Brooke and her animals.
This is a sweet Romance, but the beginning and how Brooke and Dan met was a not so pleasant time. Author Cari Lynn Webb does a really good job of weaving all of the past hurts and heartaches in both Brooke and Dan’s lives taking them on a journey that will finally give them the love and life they deserve. I enjoyed the animals, and it made me realize juzy how much fires and other disasters traumatizes the lives of our fur babies. The author does a good job with discussing the pets and their feelings. As well as Dan’s son Ben and his medical issues. The entire book was very well written, and I will look for more books from this author.
