Weavers Needle by Robin Caroll

A modern-day treasure hunt begins when a client hires rivals to work against one another to find a stole map to the Dutchman’s Lost Gold Mine. Weaver’s Needle is where legend claims the mine is hidden in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona. Former Army MP Landry Parker and former police officer Nickolai Baptiste are the hired recovery specialists. Will they constantly be butting heads or learn to work together?

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Landry Parker and Nickolai Baptiste were very good at their jobs as a recovery specialists. When they were both given the same job of finding a special map of a hidden mine, with a very generous fee to the one who delivered this map, both were sure they would soon be 50,000.00 richer. But the job was dangerous, very dangerous and someone out there was just as sure that Landry or Nickolai would never get their hands on that map or anywhere near the mine.

Weavers Needle kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book! Both characters had me wrapped around their little finger. I loved the spunky attitude that was Landry. And the humbleness of Nickolai, and the reason he wanted the money was so unselfish. I certainly enjoyed the bickering back and forth these two did. That is, until someone started their dangerous stunts to harm them both. And I have to stop there because I would give away too much, so I will just say, if you enjoy historical fiction this is a book you don’t want to miss.

This is the first book I have read of Robin Carol’s for a good while. And I have forgotten just how awesome her books are. I will definitely be checking out more books from this author. I highly recommend ‘Weaver’s Needle’ for everyone to read. The suspense and the thrills of finding a lost mine with its fortunes, The emotions of the danger, and certainly showing how to Live God in your every day life will be hours of entertainment for you. I received this book from Barbour Publishing to read and write a review. I was not required to write a positive review or write a review at all. Writing this review with my choice and all opinions in this review are my honest opinion’s only.
