ABOUT THIS BOOK

Guideposts Books is excited to announce the premiere of a new film based on the book Love Finds You in Sugarcreek, Ohio (Summerside Press) by Serena Miller.

A mysterious outsider casts a long shadow on Ohio’s Amish country. Policewoman Rachel Troyer has always looked after her three elderly Amish aunts, proprietors of a farmhouse inn near Sugarcreek, Ohio. The idyllic town is popular with tourists, who come to sample its famous Amish goods. But one thing is clear to Rachel – Joe Matthews is no tourist. When the bearded stranger lands on her aunts’ doorstep, begging shelter for himself and his young son, Rachel is suspicious.

Will she be able to uncover Joe’s secrets despite her aunts’ – and her own – growing affection for him?

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

When Joe Matthews finds himself and his son in Sugarcreek, Ohio he had no idea what would happen to him and his life. He was on the run, but he couldn’t tell anyone why or who he really was. And it so happened that three Amish sisters had room for him to stay at their inn. The place that their niece finally talked them into closing. The three sisters were thrilled that they had Joe and his young son to take care of, and the feeling was mutual, especially with Joe’s son. And then there is the niece, Rachel, who was a police officer and just couldn’t figure out who Joe was, but she knew he was up to something.

I have read many of Serena Miller’s books and have grown to love her writing very much. I have loved every book I have read of hers, and I really don’t have a favorite, they are all awesome! And saying that, I loved Love Finds You in Sugarcreek Ohio. These three aunts are adorable and I loved them! What a treasure it would be to have three aunts living together and working so hard at their age. They were so sweet to take care of Joe and his son Bobby. And the relationship between Bobby and the sister Anna was precious. The entire story was just so heartwarming. And there were a few funny situations too, but you really need to read the book to find out. If you enjoy Amish fiction you will love this one. And if you are looking for a really good clean and relaxing read, then I highly recommend Love Finds You in Sugarcreek, Ohio by Serena Miller!

I received this book from Litfuse Publishing Group to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 55
