Desperate times create desperate people. And desperate people are dangerous . . .

Though Emily Hunt comes from a family of cops, the relatively quiet life of a high school teacher suits her just fine. She’s saving up to buy a house, slowly moving forward after her brother’s death, and settling into a life she loves. So the last person she wants to spend time with is Mason Taylor.

An undercover cop, Mason is enemy number one as far as her family is concerned. His involvement in the death of Emily’s brother is still up in the air, and now he expects her to help him with a case. Mason has been working with one of her students, Rafael Cerda, whose brother has been kidnapped by a drug cartel. And with time running out to meet their demands, Rafael is getting desperate.

Emily will have to draw on all of her strength to handle what happens next . . .

Fatal Exchange will draw you into a complex matrix of intertwining lives, unraveling secrets, and unexpected love.

Wow!! Do not stop. Just pass go and keep on going because you will NOT want to put this book down. Hang on to your seats and get ready for a thriller ride that is sure to knock you out of your chair! Lisa Harris knows how to write an awesome suspense/thriller that will stick with you for a long time. I couldn’t wait for it to be over because I wanted to find out what was going to happen, but then when I finished, I was wishing the book had a lot more pages so I could keep reading! Ms. Harris weaves a mixture of many difficult scenes and situations to bring a story that I hope you love as much as I did. And in the end, well you will just have to read it an find out what it is about, and what happens in the end. I just hate giving away a good story and ruin it for everyone!

I rec’d a copy of this book from Revell publishers to read and review. I was not expected or required to write a positive review. The opinions in this review are mine only.
