“Irene Hannon is one great storyteller.”–Debbie Macomber, #1 New York Times bestselling author

Independent single mom Claire Summers is doing her best to make lemonade out of the lemons life has handed her. Workaholic Keith Watson is interested only in the bottom line–until a letter from Claire’s eleven-year-old daughter reaches his desk and changes everything.

As the executive assistant to a philanthropic businessman, Keith is used to fielding requests for donations. But the girl isn’t asking for money. She wants help finding the long-lost son of a neighbor. As Keith reluctantly digs into this assignment in his usual results-oriented style, he has no idea how involved he and Claire will become–nor how unusual the results will actually be. Who could have guessed that a child’s kindhearted request would bring love and hope to so many lives . . . including his own?

Through compelling characters and surprising plot twists, fan favorite Irene Hannon offers this tenderhearted story that demonstrates how life is like lilacs–the biggest blooms come only after the harshest winters.

“Hannon’s multithread plot is woven beautifully together to create a tapestry that will enchant romantics of all ages.”–Publishers Weekly

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Irene Hannon just knows how to write a fantastic book! I have read most of her suspense/thrillers and love, love them. And now this is the second heartwarming Contemporary story written by Ms. Hannon that I have read. Claire Summer and her neighbor and Keith Watson and his boss interesting and unique character that I really grew to love. What these four people didn’t know was that their life was about to take a complete turnaround because of a letter Claire’s eleven year old daughter Haley wrote to Keith’s boss. Her request was that they find Claire’s neighbor, Dr. Chandler’s son she gave up for adoption many years ago. But this was suppose to be a surprise birthday gift for Dr. Chandler.

One Perfect Spring is a perfect book to read during the spring time! How fun is that!! This story had my attention from the first page, and I couldn’t put it down! For four people that had no interest in love, these characters will have you laughing and crying as you follow their story with all of their past difficulties coming to life. As Ms. Hannon weaves this story together, she deals with adoption and all of the emotions that follow; romance, even though none of them are looking for love again. And then there is faith, forgiveness, healing from the hurts of the past, and redemption and grace from a loving Heavenly Father. I highly recommend this book to you if you are looking for a good, clean, fun and interesting fiction read. You will surely be  blessed!
