Jerry Eicher’s bestselling Amish fiction (more than 210,000 in combined sales) includes The Adams County Trilogy, the Hannah’s Heart books, and the Little Valley Series. After a traditional Amish childhood, Jerry taught for two terms in Amish and Mennonite schools in Ohio and Illinois. Since then he’s been involved in church renewal, preaching, and teaching Bible studies. Jerry lives with his wife, Tina, and their four children in Virginia.

Tina Eicher was born and married in the Amish faith, surrounded by a mother and sisters who were great Amish cooks. At fellowship meals and family gatherings, Tina’s dishes receive high praise and usually return empty. She and her husband, Jerry Eicher, author of several bestselling Amish fiction titles, are the parents of four children and live in Virginia.

My Thoughts on this Book

This is just one amazing cookbook by Jerry and Tina Eicher. I have had so much fun looking through this book several times, reading the recipies and picking out ones I want to try. Because of surgery, I didn’t get to try any ond these recipes yet, but I have several picked out to try. And I also found some new Thanksgiving and Christmas dishes to try. If you love cookbooks, then you will absolutely love this book. And if you kinda like them, well this is one you need to try. The recipes are fun, easy and oh so yummy! You may find some recipes like old favorites of yours, but they may have a little different twist. That is what makes this book fun. And if nothing else, I just like the fact that I am cooking like the Amish cook! I love anything Amish, and sitting down to a table of Amish food, well its just exciting for me.

I highly recommend this book for you to pick up for yourself. And it would make a wonderful Christmas gift for that favorite cook on your list.
