With Every Letter
By Sarah Sundin
About the Book:
Book 1 in the Wings of the Nightingale series
Keep the letters coming! That’s how it was for Lt. Mellie Blake. Mellie started writing letters to an anonymous soldier after he supervisor set up letter writing between the nurses and soldiers help build morale. She was so glad to finally have a friend, one she could actually tell everything to. After all, they would never meet, so what did it matter? And Lt. Tom MacGilliver had really never had anyone he could honestly talk to, and was thrilled to be writing to this military nurse, the one he named Annie.
My interest was captured with the letter writing. I thoroughly enjoyed the contact between these two people who quickly became friends. I grew to love both Mellie and Tom as the story unfolded and they were both soon stationed very close to each other. Tension started building because neither thought they would ever meet the other, and now they were so close. Would meeting destroy the close friendship they two now have? Or will we see a fast budding romance that will sweep us off our feet? I strongly encourage you to pick up a copy of Sarah Sundin’s new novel “With Every Letter” for a wonderful enjoyable read.
