ABOUT THE BOOK

Suzanne’s daughter, Campbell, journeys there in search of answers to her questions about her mother’s history.Suzanne’s three friends-Lila, Jane, and Meghan-were torn apart by long-buried secrets and heartbreak. Though they haven’t spoken in years, each has pieces of a scrapbook they made together in Sweethaven. Suzanne’s letters have lured them all back to the idyllic lakeside town, where they meet Campbell and begin to remember what was so special about their long Sweethaven summers. As the scrapbook reveals secrets one by one, old wounds are mended, lives are changed,

and friendships are restored-just as Suzanne intended.

My Thoughts on this Book!

Wow Courtney Walsh has written an amazing debut book! I didn’t want it to end, and I sure hope there will be a Book 2. With a wonderful cast of believable characters that you grow to know and love, and a heart-breaking story, you are sure to want to read this awesome book.

Suzanne was a good single mom who lovingly raised her daughter Campbell the right way. Only she never wanted Suzanne to know who her dad was. A phone call prompted Campbell to visit her mom because she had something important to tell her, but it was too late for both Suzanne and Campbell. This started a whirlwind hunt for answers and to find her dad in the process. Along the journey, many unknown things were brought to surface, putting closure to many answers to secrets looming at Sweethaven.

This is a book you do not want to miss! It is just one awesome book, one of the best I’ve read in a while. Go grab your copy and enjoy a few days comfort and rest in “A Sweethaven Summer.”
