Book Review….Summer of Joy……Ann H. Gabhart

This is the 3rd and final book about the Brook family. After struggling through several problems in the small community of Hollyhill, Kentucky, things seem be simmering down and everyone is looking forward to hear of wedding plans. But can David find the nerve to ask the could be bride?

And just when David thinks things are calm and quiet, and he’s overcoming his nervousness, the past comes back to haunt him. The community is again in a whirlwind when two people show up unexpectedly.

Another wonderful story from Ann H. Gabhart, full of family, friend, love and just enjoyable characters.

    Hi, SplashesofJoy.
What fun to see my three Hollyhill books reviewed on your site. So glad you enjoyed getting to know Jocie and friends. I had so much fun writing their stories and I sometimes still hear Jocie and Wes doing some of their “Jupiter” talking.

    Thanks for reading my books.

Thank you Ann for dropping by. These were my first books of your to read and I fell in love with all of the characters. I didn’t mention Wes in the reviews, but I did love him too!
I have 3 more of your books to read….The Believer, The Outsider and The Seeker. I will review those here too. I will also post them all on some of the big Bookstore sites too. The reason for my blog is help others know of Christian Fiction and the great books I read! And to help the Authors too so you will keep writing your wonderful books!
    Blessings to you….Joy

This book has such a beautiful cover, I’d pick it up to read it without even reading the synopsis! It sounds like a great story.
